I’ve been using Steelix lead with Thunder Fang, Shadow Feraligatr as a switch and Bibarel with Rollout as a closer since the start of the new season and have been doing great so far. Nice video Henry!
@@thatoneguy8801 honestly just do it , I use a gallade that maxes out at 1475, but only cuz it’s shadow shiny and my favourite mon , it just faints on hits it should live , you could also use tropius , same typing and moveset
So I looked it up and against about 36 GL meta mons, the 14/14/15 has 19 wins, 17 losses in the 1 shield while the 0/14/14 has 21 winds 15 losses. It picks up Cresselia and Diggersby. You'll gain Breakpoints vs Chesnaught Guzzlord Shadow Machamp Primeape Drifblim and Wigglytuff with your 14/14/15 But lose Bulkpoints vs Abomasnow, Dewgong, Guzzlord, Lickilicky, Shadow A.wak, A. Slash, Talonflame, Drifblim, Gastrodon, Diggersby and in the mirror You win CMP against Galar Corsola, Diggersby, high attack Clodsires, and in the mirror. (This CMP information might not be accurate, please double check. Double checked myself but not confident in my interpretation of the sims on CMPs) Overall despite all these things, In 1 shield you'll only end up losing on 2 matchups though. This is out of the 36 mons of the GL meta. There's a few important ones that haven't been included here.
I'll say if you are low on XLs, build the 14/14/15. If that's your only shadow, wait a while to get a better one potentially unless you really really wanna use it immediately. If you wanna save dust I suppose you can build the one you have In my opinion mons like these require a lot of investment and you don't wanna have any regrets about building a bad IV mon. I built my Shadow Sableye only to get to know about certain Breakpoints later, but over 500k dust and 340+ XLs later and best buddy, I have regrets about not having one with just a few more attack IVs. Mine's a good rank by the way (200 something)
It’s not just Android with frame drop issues. Ya know that, right? You always reference it as if it’s only affecting you/other Android users. TLDR this game sucks for Android, Apple, flip phone Sanyo….Everyone.
Me sitting here seeing 16 ground mons per game... Watch Homeslice avoid ABB ground like it's banned 🙄🙄🙄
lol😂 maybe you just unlucky
i think it depends on moveset
“Luck”
The very first game he seen two ground types
And a water lol
Used this Steelix last season with PF & EQ & actually had success

Nice video Henry!
Thundershock down a ground type… after years of playing the real Pokémon games this makes my tummy hurt lmao
LOL
I do love how type interactions work in Go
Keep em coming. I’m building all these new updated mons
How much Stardust do you have? 😭
@ I had 3m at the start of this season. I’m down to almost 1 mil lol
@@TheChosenJuan916 What the heck, give me some
I’d like to see an Emolga/Electivire/Morpeko overload team.
i dont think any overload line that has a double resistance will work
Yeah ground types are way too abundant
Stunfisk must not exist 🤔
Ah yes, sounds like a wonderful idea in a post-Mud Slap buff meta. Could be kinda funny at least, I guess lol
Kanto Marowak would like to know your location
13:45 talking about frame drops on android, i have the same issue... I'm not a fan of Iphone but should i make the leap to the apple side?
The frame drops are why I don't battle daily anymore. In fact, I don't care for ranks or climbing.
I swear, they somehow get WORSE every time
I can't fault you for that, they are so frustrating :/
Im running a similar team, but have shadow steelix and serperior instead, and electivire hitting nukes all day
I come back a year later and Thunder Fang Steelix is a thing? 😭 🙏
@HomeSliceHenry: How would this team deal with a fire lead such as Skeledirge or Alolan Marowak?
Dirge is 228 in the great league but good question
I have a shiny 0/13/15 that is currently my buddy. Is it worth using for UL? It gets to 2499 CP at level 51.
Steelix is great in UL
I would I don’t even use mine for ultra league but built it anyway since i can if want plus use as a mega whenever
Go for it!
I have a shadow jump pluff that maxes out at 1461 is that worth using?
Nooooooo
@wesleysiegel6646 :(

@@wesleysiegel6646 whats more important, the cp or stats? cause i have some that are pretty bad but are right at 1500
@@thatoneguy8801 stats 100%, go to pvpoke and type in your ivs and it will tell you your Pokémon’s rank
Is shadow electabuzz available from grunts? If not ill build my only 3/14/6
It is available atm but likely no frustration TM until January
@nicholasmorledge-hampton8389 ok thats cool! Im waiting to tm this shadow electivire, sandslash, froslass, #1 shadow cradily and jumpluff!
My I phone frame drops everyday
Can't wait for you to showcase buffed avvalug in the UL
How is shadow Electivire not in the thumbnail lol
Proof, bad IV’s don’t matter if you’re good enough
And if you are not good enough, stick to good mons with good ivs
You're the man Slice, you're the man
What ever happen too jumpluff elite tm ...i see AA alot more now
Since Aerial Ace was buffed a few seasons back, it has become a very viable Moveset.
Some rare Jumps run both flying moves..
I actually tmed away acrobatics because Aerial Ace just has so much better pacing.
How good is a 14/14/15 shadow jumpluff
Will be decent, cheap to build but you might lose a considerable amount of bulk. Check sims on pvpoke.

why not switch to iPhone as a content creator for the game?
Come on niantic…..multiple times I lost today because I didn’t even get a chance to tap my move on what was meant to be a CMP tie……
