- Ranking all of the heroes in Bloons TD 6 is never an easy job because these tier lists carry a lot of personal opinions when being made. Nevertheless I decided to do a BTD6 hero tier list ranking all of the heroes in the game by how good I think they are, and this is the end result!

Yup, I finally made a hero tier list and I feel like it's somewhat decent? Or maybe not? What are some heroes you guys would move up or down?
I mostly agree, I would personally put Pat a couple tiers up and Brickell in S, can't exactly tell why but she's my favorite lol
i think pat being in d tier is a mistake imo since it makes rounds like 40 , 60 , 80 are easy and also the plus damage goes hard wth bottom path dart, any tack path and othrers, also brickell is super op if you do bottom path sub strats
I definitely think you should make a monkey knowledge point tier list next, since it would be neat to see which ones new players should prioritize

I'd only move Brickel tbh. Brickel is great if you have water, and that's really the only thing holding her back.

Everyone loves Geraldo for his shop and what you can do with it, for me it's the opposite. I wanna lay back and chill while playing bloons and Geraldo - just like Corvus - require too much attention the whole game. I want my hero to do its stuff and level up and keep placing and upgrading other towers. But those 2 want you to focus on them all the time, which is why I don't really enjoy using them. Probably contrary to basically everyone else in this game lol
That is the norm for most players. However, you will not improve to be a really good btd6 player with that mentality going in to it so I hope your goal is having fun instead of performing excellent.
My goal is to perform excellent and learn so I would never go into a game with that mentality.

I'm with @ShadY94TV, I want to have fun, not memorize a ton of stuff and micro all the time. I bought Corvus and hated him. Now I have to earn enough to get someone else, and that's why I'm watching tier vids. There's nothing at all wrong with the "mentality" of wanting to actually enjoy playing a game.

Obyn really needs to be able to target brambles idk why they haven't implemented that yet in btd6. He wouldn't be that strong if you could regardless and even then I would probably still keep him in C tier.

At least Obyn can target things in range with brambles now which is really useful for some chimps strats on r40 where you need the bramble damage, but I agree, manual targeting would be nice

Corvus is soooo micro intensive that i hate to use him so not B tier for me. Using your motivation is easily F tier for me. I'd put Psi in A tier: strong and infinite range is a nice combo

When it comes to overall effectiveness I think Corvus is #1, but I never use them cause I hate micro.
ETN should be at least upper A tier. I think you forgot to mention he gives camo detection to every tower globally, which is really massive because you can now go for a 2-0-2 village instead.

I think etiene should be B at least, personally i say A because he opens up the most number of strategies, a lot of stuff dont have camo detect meaning you are forced to do something to deal with the camoed variants. Plus, high round blue towers only, hes a must

Brickell is B Tier at an absolute minimum (but is probably A Tier). She has 3 strong abilities, pops all bloon types, has good popping power, and is not that expensive.
Sauda and Benjamin are definitely not S Tier. Sauda requires a single lane map with at least a 90 degree bend in the track to be decent. Benjamin is not good on quick maps or CHIMPS.
Most of the others are within a tier of where I would have them so not worth mentioning.
Bens lvl 10 ability is extremely powerful and *can* work on certain expert maps on chimps, if timed right.

Ngl psi is a S tier for me, I use them in every game. You basically don’t have to worry about non moan class balloons for awhile lmao.
honestly you can't make a tier list like this you have to separate them by modes. some of the lower tier heroes are incredible in chimps but they get placed low because you just don't value that much while others like ben who is only really good in boss events gets put in s tier because that is what you value a lot. if yo ever make another tier list in the future, you should rank heroes by how good they are in each mode, and then have your separate lists which would be much more accurate and more people would agree with.
Real cuz like psi isn't necessary on most maps but for expert maps he's like the best

Etienne is at least A Tier for these reasons.
-Global Camo. Opens up a lot of doors for other towers to take their more damage output routes over Camo routes. Also 2/0/2 Village.
-Fast Level Up. Same rate as OG heroes like Quincy and Gwen.
-Level 20 Perma-UCAV. The only hero with a Perma feature.
Etienne is a slow starter. Also, especially in co-op you still need some camo defense. I'd still say a move up to B tier would be fair.

Happy we got some Obyn appreciation for once. I know he isn't the best or super versatile, but you have to respect the power of druid strats, carried me through a few chimps runs

Geraldo S+ tier. No matter what weakness your defenses might have, he can address it with one click. Needs nerf IMO.
Finally an updated tier list. I was waiting for Corvus to be ranked. I haven’t unlocked to him yet though.
I freaking love Churchill as a hero but every single time i try to use him in a CHIMPS game I end up losing either because I got him too late and he takes forever to level up and become "good" or I buy him too early and could've used that $2k to buy more towers or upgrade my current ones
Personally, I would switch Psi and Etiene because I find myself playing eti more for the easy camo detect
Eti feels kinda useless when Sauda is that strong. Bad positioning Sauda is most of the times better than an excellent positioning for Eti (early game) so I cant bother using that hero unless Sauda cannot be use under any circumstances.

I love Quincy just because he’s cheap to put down, and has camo, lead popping power later. Mostly to start building up to good defenses. And he has really good group popping with that arrow and decent burst damage with his charge ability

Obyn deserves better than C tier. He does a lot.
Homing, lead popping projectiles.
Wall of trees has cash generation.
Brambles lets him pop camo.
And he buffs magic towers, which includes both poplust druids and shinibi ninjas, two extremely strong strategies.
And he's fairly cheap. What more exactly do you want from a hero?
Poplust druids are better with ezili or Geraldo. Shinobis are better with pat, Gwen, or Geraldo.
His damage falls into the Marianas trench past like round like 20

I'd say Obyn was probably C Tier before the last update but is probably at least B Tier now.
He still tends to be favored in niche setups and falls off late so I wouldn't put him higher probably.

Justic for etienne, he gives global camo, gets himself camo in time with monkey knowledge, and has global attack, becoming permanent at lvl 20. Never let this guy make a tier list again

She is very map dependent imo. On expert maps Quincy, Psi, Ben or Étienne are almost always a better choice.

Ethienne was the first Hero I was able to reach 100, DTTs were a huge problem and just the global camo by lvl8 and the perma UCAV by lvl20 were a big advantage. Later I played more Sauda and Gerlado also for Black Boardering but by far no.1 is Benjamin. In my opinion Gerlado is a bit too much nerfed. Prices are totally fine but strength and duration of some items are negotiable in my opinion.

EDIT : PSI also has the huge advantage that he can attack anything, anywhere, with no fricks given about obstructions or properties like lead / camou . love them so much
TBF Sauda is probably the 2nd or 3rd best hero in the game, depending on your stance about Corvus micro.

Something I would like to point out at 5:51 is that the level 10 ability is way more useful because when striker jones is max level Whitch he gets normally before round 100 he doubles all damage for bomb shooters and mortars and the shreds the bads and zomgs late game

9:36 Weirdly enough not many people know about that. Ive seen so much comments on multiple btd6 videos talking about how Ezili is the worst hero because her ability can only destroy 1 moab.
Here's my list based *mostly* on effectiveness in CHIMPS mode, I have 61 black borders so I think I can judge fairly well.
S - Corvus, Geraldo, Psi, and Brickell
I don't use Corvus or Geraldo much but I know their power and Psi is my go to hero. These heroes can thrive on most maps (With the exception of Brickell if there's no water) and have amazing abilities and versatility that other Heroes cannot match. Psi and Brickell are arguably the strongest late-game CHIMPS hero in the game but it can be tricky to get out of the early game, especially with Psi. I can't say much on Geraldo and especially Corvus but they do not have the early/mid-game struggles that those 2 have but they aren't as dominant in late-game.
A- Pat Fusty, Sauda, Etienne, and Ezili
Again, I don't really use Pat at all but I know he's fairly strong. Ezili is essentially a worse version of Psi, but with added necromancer support and the ability to one-shot a BAD but that unfortunately doesn't come into play often as she wont reach Lv. 20 most of the time. Etienne is great in the early and mid-game with their abilities and of course global camo is a great asset. Sauda is not S tier, on maps where she struggles she REALLY struggles, she just can't work on some maps dues to her limited range, however on the other side of the coint she is great on maps that she works on. I actually beat Geared with her, there's not much to say about Sauda as she's purely DPS with decent abilities.
B- Churchill, Quincy, Striker Jones, Benjamin, and Gwendolin
Churchill I don't really use, I'm sure on some expert maps he could work on due to higher hero XP on those but I cannot say using him is worth it most of the time. Ben is a hero I can't judge based on CHIMPS for obvious reasons and he's solid outside of CHIMP but I'd say is generally outclassed by Geraldo in terms of farming. Gwen and Quincy you can just watch this video because my thoughts line up exactly. Jones is one of my hot takes as people rate him highly. He has an incredible Lv. 3 ability and is a good support for Mortars, Bomb shooters, and PSpike. Outside of that how good is he really? He generally limits strategy if you want to get the most use out of him and his DPS is one of the lowest among Heroes. I cannot in good faith put him in A tier, although I'll give him this... He's probably the best B tier hero.
C- Adora and Obyn
Okay this is a hot take I'm not entirely sure if I even agree with, but Adora is a weak hero. She levels up the slowest, if I'm right, and when it comes to just DPS most of the other DPS heroes such as Gwen, Quincy, and Sauda just are better at it than her despite having much faster levelling. Her abilities are solid, particularly ball of light. She can be levelled up faster than most heroes by sacrificing towers but the only time I think that would be a good idea is to sacrifice a mid-game tower when the freeplay rounds hit, particularly sacrificing the Elite Sniper. Which legitimately isn't a bad idea but again, why not use a hero like Quincy at that point? But that's enough I'm not gonna go into it further, I'll probably try to give her a shot again but I doubt she'll be that good.
What is there to say about Obyn? He is just inexplicably weak. You know what I said about Jones limiting strategy? Well Obyn is worse at this and doesn't have great abilities to make up for it either, unlike Jones. Obyn is the neglected hero of the game, having been one of if not the weakest hero for a long time now. Instead of beating a dead horse I think instead I'll say my ideas for buffing Obyn. 1. Let us target brambles... Why can't we do this...? 2. Partially revert the nerf that was made back in 18.0 and give back Obyn's ability to give pierce to Ninjas at level 2. And the weirdest buff idea I have is 3. At level 15 instead of increasing the slowdown of the totem, make it act like Geraldo's creepy idol. Of course this wouldn't work on MOAB class bloons.
TL;DR, this list is mostly based off of CHIMPS and don't use Obyn.

Adora probably better then you say she is because she takes skill is use and stuff. Eti probably worse then you say he is because he is weak. Idrc to argue. At least you said obyn is bad. Have a nice day :)

Obyn actually is part of the primary chimps strat I use, Obyn, ninja, discount, 302 supers = easy wins

I’m confused how Adora isn’t s. Her mid game isn’t bad at all. You have to including sacrificing and you can easily get her to level 10 for the 50s/60s/70s you are judging her based on natural leveling

Really though, I main etienne and he is insane when you use him right. I usually have etienne, then place a bunch of towers that normally fall behind in camo and they are insanely good. Then UCAV clutches the tight rounds. Also 8:59 is lies

One of my chimps strategies is to carry with a crossbow master and a 032 robo monkey to save up for a permabrew alchemist. You never saw a permabrewed level 20 Quincy shred through moabs, did you? 😎😎😎
