Hey man, is there any way to take away all of the latency in the sample? I'm not using a loop, but rather a sample that I would like to trigger instantly on the exact beat of the tempo. When I trigger the sample it doesn't trigger instantly, there is a huge delay. And when triggering the sample 2 times in a row, it doesn't trigger. Any help?
These tutorials are much appreciated! There's not to many Mainstage tutorials that show how to set up for a live performance but you've provided that clearly and concisely. Do you know if there's a way to make the pad buttons stay lit up in Mainstage while that sample is looping. It would be nice if they stayed lit up once I turned that loop on so I could visually see what was looping.
Hi ! I probably know how to do it but I'm not pretty sure... Alright, first I've done it with a button and not a pad. In fact, when you set a button, you're able to choose the "Type" of button you want: it shows a rolling list, and you have to click on "activated/non-activated note" (my app is in french so I don't know the english name) instead of "activated/released". Then, you just have to map your button as usual, and it stays lit when activated. Hope it will help you... ;)
instead of using the mod wheel to fade a loop or sample, is there a way to use a specified time to do it? for example, say you wanted your pad intro to start fading out after 5 seconds and be zero value by 10 seconds? Sort of a fade out like you might use when editing a sample?
Im going to be using mainstage to create live improv psytrance/rock music. Worked with Logic a long time and mainstage looks perfect for what I want to do live.
All you have to do is fill 2 bags of trash
This video is very useful so please continue the next part please
