Words of wisdom 🙌🏻 I agree with all you say. Being a minimalist and old enough to know my style, I admit having no stress while getting dressed, as I own only what I actually like to wear. Around 40-50 pieces of clothing, shoes & accessories alltogether covers my all year round needs for 4 seasons. Less clutter, less time wasted taking care of it. 100% worth it;) PS. Can’t get enough of your beautiful English accent ❤
Awww thank you so much, that’s really kind🥰 and yes absolutely, my closet space has all 4 seasons, it all fits and feels really streamlined, quite a coincidence I was planning when to do the ‘how I organise my closet’ video only today , I’m going to do it in a month I think as it starts to warm up so I can link it to spring transitional dressing. 40-50 pieces is so good, way more curated than mine, I think my amount works for me though it still feels paired back 🙂 I really appreciate your comment and kind words 🇬🇧❤️
@ I am dying to see your closet actually 😍 so I’m happy to hear you are planning on filming such content 🙏🏻 As for number of items owned - there is no such thing as „perfect amount” for everyone, it will obviously vary, based on the lifestyle etc. Mine is pretty easy going, I don’t need to dress any special way to work, I no longer party hard;), so this reduces my needs. Also: been there, done that, so now I can just relax and be an outfit repeater without having scarcity mindset pushing me to constatnly search for „the next best thing”. Thank you for your videos, Eliza, you are truly great! 🫶🏻
@ I relate with everything you just said!!! And yes me too, I’m very much a fan of a slower life now🙂 bless you, that made me smile 🥰 thank you so much xx
I own a sewing machine. I’m a beginner, and right now I can only shorten items. I’ve shortened so many trousers, tops, dresses… so far. It’s saving me a lot of money and time.
Good tailor is worth its absolute weight in gold, especially for people who thrift clothing or purchase from ebay since most of those will need some sort of alterations
