Phuzekhemisi - Amakhansela (Official Music Video)

This is the official music video for Amakhansela (which translates to councillors) by legendary Maskandi musician, Phuzekhemisi. The song is from his album of the same title.
The song encourages the people of KwaZulu-Natal (and South Africa at large) to use their vote during the local elections in the rural areas to put in place councillors who will ensure prosperity, growth and development for their communities.
In an interview about the song and challenging the government through this song, Phuzekhemisi said, "I was referring to my observation with regard to service delivery. As a poet I believe I have a right to sing about what I see and I request politicians not to interfere with what we preach. They should give us space to entertain the people of South Africa so that we become self supportive."
