Eeehh, you missed the mark by some years. 2006- roughly 2013 were the peak years. After that, the decline of attendance started, the amount competition got smaller and the ages got all messed with and then the pandemic really changed everything.
@@hannahwalmer1124 oh yeah I definitely have seen a decline since 2020. Gyms are closing or being bought out by big names and it seems like there aren’t as many competitions as there used to be, but one of my main gripes is the way that new (useless) divisions are constantly being added. It’s completely ruining the competitive nature of the sport. It’s sad when everyone makes it to day 2 at worlds because there aren’t enough teams to properly fill a division, and it’s even sadder that a team can WIN worlds with level 4 elites or multiple major deductions. Cheer has lost its edge ever since USASF/IASF started trying to please everybody.

I think they did it that way because 2011 f5 won and 2012 SE so they just wanted to add suspense :) I mean the the top foie routines where neck and neck
okay thanks. After they announced 2nd did SE think or know they won? Or did they think that they tied with F5 or maybe even got 4th. It seemed like they didn't know or was confused

I could not stop watching the big guy with the green shirt, on the other side of the stage, he was so into it.
2013-2017 was by far the best era of cheerleading…theirs & TGLC’s worlds performance brought the sport to a revolutionary new level.
