I just installed Guix on top of Debian today, and until they support FDE I'm going to keep it that way, but it's absolutely amazing what one can do with it.
Guix is included in openSUSE repository. I installed it today. I had to read a bit of info and list the installed files to figure out how to bootstrap a user environment but eventually got there and I’m really excited. I’ll start building VMs and containers declaratively asap. The only disappointment was the amount of dependencies it downloaded and noticing some were optional plugins and not required for development of my use case. I hope it will add something like Gentoo’s USE flags to reduce the dependency tree.

I havnt seen too many introductory or instructional videos on GUIX but so far this does both and outshines others by miles

(except that both GRUB *and* the userspace ask for the passphrase)
