That's really captivating video, especially for being so informative - and it's really complimented by the content on your blog. If I wanted to recreate that route, I'd find it very useful to have a printed itinerary, so I'm not stressed about missing anything or forgetting to ask for the bicycles the night before.

That's some really good advice! Thank you for the compliment and comment 😁 We are definitely going to look at creating written versions of our Travallure Guides 📝

      Thank you so much! 😁
We use a few different machines to edit, but sometimes it takes a couple hours to render, so we try to use proxies so it's not too hard on the computers 👌

You stayed the night at Waterford Manor, and I was disappointed that you never really mentioned the name or anything about your stay. Did it meet your expectations? and when were you there? thanks for sharing your trip.

Hey Barbara, thank you for your message! We didn't really stay at Waterford Manor for long enough to do a thorough review like we prefer to do, but for our single night there, it was great! Even though we had no power during our stay, our hosts were kind enough to ensure we still ate (by candlelight, of course) and we had fun meeting other guests there, too.
This trip was done in two parts, the first was in October 2019, while the Slackpacking was in February 2020.

Nice to see Injasuthi featured. First went there as a kid in the 70's before it became Injasuthi and was called "Solitude Mountain Resort". Had some great hikes in the surrouding mountains and one very treacherous river crossing. Nice to see strides being made with tourism in Natal and the beauty of the region being promoted so well.

It sounds like you have some really great memories Peter 😊 and yes, we completely agree that it's awesome to see the tourism industry in our country making some positive strides 😁 I miss say, however, we are quite curious about the "treacherous river crossing" 😂

@@DearTravallure We were returning to the chalets from a hike called van Heynigins if I remember correctly. We made the mistake of taking a short cut and crossing the river next to the camp after heavy summer storms had swollen it considerably. If it were not for a couple of German university students who went ahead of us and realised we would need help we would not have been able to cross. I was carried across on my uncles back in a kind of human chain. Not smart. But certainly a memory. Also remember meeting the drummer from a band called "Mcully's workshop" on one of the hikes there on that same trip. Visited many other areas of the Berg over the years but Injasuthi was always a favourite. Been gone twenty years now. Living in Phoenix AZ since 2000. Anyway. Your channel is doing a great job. Well done and keep it up.

Wow! Thank goodness for those students - not just acknowledging that you'd need assistance, but sticking around to actually help you out. I'm sure it was scary in the moment, but now is a memory to look back on and smile. Thank you for sharing that with us 😊
Also, thank you for your kind words about our channel! We will continue to do our best 😁
