The basic annual salary of a United Kingdom PM is = £86,584 which is equivalent to approximately Ja$16 million. Why should a very poor country like Jamaica pay MPs the sane salary as a UK MP $15 million. That is corruption in its highest order. Have mercy on Jamaica 😢

We are the ones who should determine if and when they can get an increase based on performance and the service received by the Jamaican citizens. If the majority of citizens in this country can say they have received top notch service from the public sector snd their lives and livelihood have benefited and fortunes have increased by 200 and 300 percent then by all means give them their increase also. If the opposite is true then they do not deserve an increase in fact they should get a pay cut or do the honorable thing and resign from their position and open it up to some one who will do a better job.
