That girl that forgot to give back a offering given to the fairies was absolutely horrible and idiotic. You should have after you promised the second time you should have done it right then. Don't start putting out offerings if you're planning on taking them back.

    Mischief everywhere
The maids, to keep the elves aloof,
will bar the doors in vain,
No keyhole will be fairy proof ...

Fairy Mischief. A tale as old as time itself. There are many days where I wonder: is it a bad day? Is it unfortunate coincidence? Is it bad luck? Or is it the Fey, coming to entertain themselves at my expense? Perhaps after a listen and talking to each other, we will be a little more prepared when we venture out to places full of mystery. Mystery… and…mischief. Thank you Scary Fairy Godmother for sharing with us.

    • @ScaryFairyGodmother

Mystery and mischief, a very good way to sum up the fairies. I love the line from the poem I posted above, "No keyhole is fairy proof." They can slip in at any time! ;)

@@ScaryFairyGodmother that is indeed a great line. No keyhole IS fairy proof, and neither is any riddle, action, or whisper in the dark. The potentiality is everywhere, even if the actuality isn’t always. You just never know, do you.

I think that is the second time i have heard of fairies trying to cut peoples shadows off. The other one also had a couple staring at a sunset and becoming entranced. They look down and a fae is busy cutting the shadow.

My sister who lives on rural country in Oregon. She was in the forest next to her cabin, she heard the fluttering like bird above her head by tall tree. She looked up and was startled to see a real fairy with wings ! Even fairys eyes were wide. The feminine long legs , color of skin was light olive green. She flew toward deep forest. about 10 -12 inches tall.

Amazing how stories of fairy encounters continue to persist in Ireland, a country with only few natural forests left. According to the folklore, when fairies cross to our world, they prefer to visit forested areas than in the cities because they don't want to be seen by humans.

I have visited this channel since 2020, trying to research something that happened to me , as a little girl climbing my favorite tree…and since I started my study into the fae…I’ve moved BACK to the homestead where the original mishap took place when my grandpa passed it on to me. Where can I send you my story? I’m almost 100% I don’t have a haunting….it’s the fae..and my family has dealt with them for generations now..

It's interesting to me how some fairy experiences could be also interpreted as "ghost" or "poltergeist" activities. It often depends on the person's belief system or life experiences as to how they see the occurrence. Obviously the instances where a Fae like being is seen could be determined as a fairy situation, but when it's more vague, like the story of the chili powder, it will be seen through the lense of that person's belief system. It makes me wonder how often "hauntings" could be fairies instead!! A thought to ponder! 🤔

Yea for that first story I was thinking UAP until the gnomes showed up. These stories do cross over some. The USP channel had a few really good fae stories.

  • @devonbradley4372

These were very entertaining and interesting stories. I liked the Tex-Mex fairy story. I was also very interested to hear someone mention that the fae don't like Archangel Michael. Also, in the story where the lady forgot to replace the money on her fairy altar and the fae started speaking to her in her own voice, I found this quite surprising. In the past, I used to do EVP's from a computer programme and I recorded every session. Well, the spirits also mimicked the voices of a couple of family members. Personally, I would not have a fairy altar in my home but I would have one outside in the garden. When you give the fae gifts you are not supposed to take them back. That is an insult. Thanks to all those who shared their stories and thank you, SFG for your beautiful narration. Blessings to all from Australia.

HOW DID I GO 2 WEEKS WITHOUT WATCHING THIS?! I swear, it feels like just yesterday I got the notification... (Better late than never, I guess!)
*ahem* The fairy cutting the shadow really intrigued me! Most Fae themselves don't have shadows, now I'm starting to wonder if there's a specific reason for that... I also feel for the Tex-Mex Fairy couple, as I've had similar happen to me before...
And ughhhh would hearing my own voice from another room creep me out! Though I've also heard that your voice sounds different than what you hear in your head, so would I actually know it's me? Huh... there's something to ponder...

That first story about cutting off their shadow, was it their uncle that was on an old Canadain documentary called the Fairy Faith? Because a man interviewed shares almost exactly the same story, the rainbow and scenery, although this man mentions hearing "fae" music, description of the pair, the cutting and rolling up of the shadow, then they vanished.
Or could it be the same pair doing this to more then one person?

Super awesome video as always. I get so excited every time you post a new video. I felt that the story about the person forgetting to follow through with their promise to the fairies was sort of mean spirited. Cutting a shadow as if it's a tangible thing and rolling it as a carpet. Holy smokes how does one even begin to make sense of that. It makes you wonder if the Shadow monsters in Dr Who are really just fiction and that is an unsettling thought the next time you see a double shadow of your own.

The fact that not all but many of these beings flee at the bequest of the divine of God etc. Showcases an underlying evil nature to those particular entities. I believe Tolkien had a very deep understanding of all these things when he wrote his mythology.

So here is the gist of it.
Same as Demons being fallen angels the so called evil fae are fallen beings as well that followed the father of lies in his revolt against the creator. Which is what Tolkien implied in his mythology.
The good ones work as administrators of nature and rarely ever interfere in the affairs of men (humanity) except at the bequest of Eru Iluvatar (Tolkien's anagram of the Biblical God) the fae in general are called the Valar in Tolkien's mythology BTW.😎
