Unfortunately, you may not be notified if you've been rejected. However, be aware that these online markets are extremely price-sensitive, so you will need to find a product that not only sells well but also sells cheaply, while still returning a profit to the seller. Hi Rakhee! It's possible to dropship on Walmart Marketplace (that's what print-on-demand is classified as), so it would just be a matter of finding a POD supplier that works with Walmart Marketplace. We checked a few POD suppliers and found at least one (Printbest) that works with Walmart. Hello, Deepak! Unfortunately, it's not easy to get approved to sell on Walmart Marketplace. The company is notoriously picky about who is allowed to join. Walmart should have given a reason for the rejection; if not, we recommend trying to find out why. The most common reason for rejection seems to be "inconsistent tax or business documentation," followed by a lack of eCommerce experience. Specifically, it's a good idea to be sure to use an EIN and not a personal SSN in the application. Successful Walmart Marketplace applicants can also show that they have solid eCommerce experience, fast shipping, and strong customer service. If your application doesn't show your business has those characteristics, you won't be approved no matter who you hire to manage your application. Work on building your experience and business reputation first. That could mean joining another marketplace, such as Amazon or Etsy, while you develop the history Walmart is looking for. Hi Angella! According to Walmart's prohibited item list, you can't sell "fresh or non-shelf stable food" on Walmart Marketplace. It's unclear if perishable cookies and loaves would be considered fresh. But in looking over the marketplace, the only fresh baked goods we found are Walmart branded or a major brand. So our assumption is that perishable baked goods would fall under that prohibited "fresh" category, but, to be certain, you may want to contact Walmart directly. Hope that's helpful!
