As Isaiah 55 tells us that God’s thoughts and ways are higher and greater than humanity’s way! Many years ago I met a highly educated, well respected, Episcopalian pastor from the UK. Unfortunately he wasn’t a born again Christian. And he did not preach the gospel of salvation like Billy Graham and others like Dr. John MacArthur and Tiff Shuttlesworth… do. Head knowledge and human gifts and talents and skills and accomplishments… are of utmost importance and highly esteemed in this life and world. A personal genuine relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and how much one is focused and anchored around Christ Jesus and faith and hope and love and righteousness… the fruits of the Holy Spirit are what’s important to God!
