Beautiful 40' 1983 MCI MC-9 Bus conversion Tour
This coach was built by a retired bus technician and is very solid both structurally and mechanically.
The conversion is mild and modest but functions well and will take care of all your traveling needs.
Engine: Detroit 8v71 Diesel (Approximately 250,000 miles with excellent maintenance... Will easily go another 850,000 miles)

All new front axle and rear axle bellows
179 Gallon Fuel Tank
Brakes are in excellent condition and were just inspected 4-5 months ago
New Brake Relay Valve
Batteries are only a few years old and in great condition
Nice 10 Gallon water heater 110V / Propane which will give you a nice hot shower
Toyo Drive tires, and Steer Tires in good shape. Tag axle tires will need to be replaced before a long trip
55 Gallon Clean water Tank
57 Gallon Black water Tank
65 Gallon Grey water Tank
(3) 5 Gallon Propane Tanks
5.5 Kw Generek Generator
(3) burner stove / oven Propane
(1) 15000 BTU A/C unit on the roof

This coach handles like a dream... You do Not need a special driver's license to operate it. Built on a solid industrial strength MCI Chassis this coach will last far beyond your needs. Stainless steel exterior paneling (Not fiberglass and plastic like a typical motorhome), solid and strong commercial grade air brake system, and a million mile drive train if serviced properly... - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
Outside looks nice.
Runs good.
Beautiful bus
Awesome build! The only thing I would've done differently is close off the toilet, if not the whole bathroom.
I agree
Great job on the bus.
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice coach 🚌,,I'd be a proud owner. 👍🏻
You and me both!
Very Nice
Beautiful...👏👏👏
Thank you! Cheers!
Ill take it!
I really like the music
ha ha... I started making these videos without purchasing a sound track license so I was scrapping to find "Decent" tracks... It might not be the greatest but it kind of works... Thanks for your comment :)
Ilove that bus
Nice bus…but there’s a few details that lead me to believe it was never a Greyhound bus.
Does this have the 8V-71?
Correct... It has a 8v71 Detroit with a Allison Automatic
NYC couch am at south africa am interested in these buses (mci) how is it mechanically.
This coach was sold about a year ago…
Is this sti available?
It is... feel free to call or email if you have any questions... You can find it on eBay with more information...
Looks like it's leaning left a little......needs bags?
The air bags are only a few years old and the rest of the system is otherwise in great shape... The suspension is adjustable and likely just needed a little adjustment...
could a person on a small budget own one of these.how much is repairs on one of these
If you are able to do the work yourself it is possible. However, hiring a shop to do work on commercial sized vehicles is NEVER cheap :(
Did you keep the original entrance door? I can't stand the RV entrance door style.
It is the original :)
Is this sold?
It is available... It was just re-listed on eBay...
I can’t afford the wood now to do something like this
It can be a very exciting life on the road... I hope you get a chance to do it :)
What's the price
Just listed on eBay 4/29/2020 for $36,000.00
