    is it sensitive or "specific" that you meant sir?
    Since we are looking for a test which will exclude liver disease if found normal...
    Like the candidate answered ALP...which can rise in other conditions as well, so its not specific for liver function;
    while PT will rise only in case of liver dysfunction, if other coagulation abnormalities are excluded or not considered.
    A sensitive test is a test which will detect slightest of an abnormality i.e. to have a higher true positive value;
    Similarly. a specific test is a test that will confidently say absence of a disease if found normal i.e. high true negetive value
    here, if PT is found normal, we can almost consider that liver function is not impaired (neglecting other acquired or congenital coagulation disease or anticoagulant administration)
    So, PT should be a specific test instead of sensitive.
    Please correct me if I am wrong anywhere sir.
    Thanks

    Sir, u mentioned that , for estimation of liver span, percussion should be carried out laterally below the costal margin but in text book , it is mentioned that span is estimated in the mid clavicular line, can u please explain?

    No disrespect intended here, but in almost every case presentation video, phones ringing from panel of examiners is audible. This is not respectful to the person speaking. Please make it a rule that phones should be on vibrate mode during the presentations. It's not a time for distractions. Thank you.
