@@18thsquadlab The composition/ planning of the scenery is something I look forward too! Like you said, many elements need to align and make sense. may I ask how big is the diorama gonna be as the Tiger in 35th scale is quite the beast or is that still to be determined.?
@@frederickjacobs177 Hi Fred, the major issue to my point of view is the bridge size. If we want to work with a realistic scale, for such an important bridge as in the movie, we'll exceed the meter length and this is not an option. I have a few ideas to gain space but nothing is fully decided yet. It will most probably implies to make sacrifice with regards to the movie presentation but it's an aspect of scale modeling. 😉 to be followed 😁 First step, complete the Tiger 1 construction....😁 and that's a hell of a job. 🤙🤪
I wish you the best with your project! For the most part, I agree with your decision to model an actual Tiger 1 for this scene, and not the ersatz Tiger featured in the movie. That said, an interesting diorama could be made by kitbashing a Tiger 1 and a T-34/85 to depict the MOVIE being filmed. You could include a film production crew along with the figures of the tank commander and Capt. Miller to round out the scene. I think both Master Box and AK Interactive has modern cameras and operators in their accessory lines. It would make a fine "Delayed-Reaction Scene," as Shep Paine called it back in the day, as it would take viewers (especially modelers whose attention would be immediately drawn to the 'Tiger 1' with T-34 running gear) a moment or two to realize what's going on . . . . Thanks for sharing this. 47th like.
Many thanks Modelermark🙏🙏 I fully agree with the concept, it could be very interesting indeed. 😉 perhaps for a future one. My Tiger 1 is already finished and ready and I can't imagine reproducing this strange movie creation 🤣🤙
