When Mordred was released, she was basically "father, but better". Then dad came and took her farming niche away. Mordred decided to become buster crits. Dad came and became busters.
Being Mordred is suffering.
Must feel the same as having NP2 Mordred as your best farming Saber, but exactly zero copies of daddy
Mordred is really good as well.
Aside her niche of "anti-Artoria", her crit potential is REALLY high, while still having one defensive skill.
Also, the Apocrypha dress she has on JP is something else.
You forget that Mordred put on a swimsuit and decided to NP Loop. Then Father grabbed a super soaker.

This way of slowly discovering how truly powerful she can be reminds me a lot of the original Fate/Stay Night.
She has always been my favourite, I'm so glad she's now good and has beautiful animations.
Now, I know I'm asking a lot, but if they could also eventually upgrade that old "charisma" with a certain Holy Sheath, that would be perfect.

@@stevensteel3295 He is good. Maybe not Kagetora/Summer Raikou tier but definitively a decent lancer. Two of his skills got buff (an amazing cooldown reduction on the second one) and I suppose he can do some loops with Castoria on jp.

with how OP cu is, I'm surprised there isn't a super Cu who's a 5-star lancer with protection from arrow's EX that also increases his art's card effectiveness as well as a 4 hit evade, a battle continuation that also applies triple restoration after his guts was activated, and a skill that heals him for 4000 HP as well as remove buff's and increase crit strength with an art's NP and a QAAAB deck to use his NP multiple time's with sure hit and instead of a death effect, it removes enemy buffs and lower's defense as well
then he'd be the only servant anyone would ever use

I really love all this card manipulation stuff that started in NA with Summer BB and that existing servants like Emiya and Arthuria on JP get buffed with.

I notice how broken her Damage Steroid is, when I compare it to Karna's.
His buff always has been amazing due to the mixed Buster/NP buff, that makes him deal an outrageous amount of damage on his NP. But due to the fact that it is a mixed buff, the Buster one goes up to 30%, and NP one to 20%.
Now Artoria has a buff just like his, with almost double the values (50%Buster-30%NP) and also makes all her cards buster, while having the same 5 turn CD.
This just shows how outdated some other skills have gotten now, with such strong buffs arriving everytime.
Karna buff when?
Truth to be told, I only want to buff his 1st skill, turning it to like 3 turns NP seal and debuff resist down. I think his offensive skill is still not in a bad place.
Personally, I want Rama to be buffed since he is my main DPS saber. Wgat I want is to turn Curse of Separation to a proper Gut or heal, not like something in the middle that is useless.
It would be great if he gets a buster buff.
Since his demonic niche is pretty rare, an Np Interlude would also fit.
In the past they kinda balance the buff value unlike now which is why whack buffs like Artoria happens. Since yeah if you only factor NP, Karna's mixed mana burst is better than Artoria's default Mana burst
To be fair though Karna has other issues outside of his mana burst if DW wants to give him a buff maybe some star absorb or hard defence would be nice

@@deathstar6998 I love my Karna but he does feel very fragile once in a while. Without Mash or a Merlin (for trololol-damage-reasons) to keep him safe, he usually just kinda keels over in challenge quests.
Also i really yearn for a Jeanne-upgrade. Poor girl still has completely useless skills.

I want Artoria charisma to give 50% attack buff to others for 3t. Cause Artoria's charisma is the reason, fate has so many fans.

@@tkg3me yes it is. 20% with a 20% NP battery for the team on it would be enough. You may stack a 2030 on it too (aka 10 starts for 3 turns). That would make her a offensive support as also a offensive servant even more.
She wold help with starts, NP and atk, as also having a 50% self battery and self NP dmg up. This would help with np loop.
Maybe a sure hit for 3 turns is better than the starts. Just to make sure evade and invincibility won't hold her back.

They had a chance to do something like that with Emiya (minds eye to Rho Aias) but they made him even more OP for loops
They’d need to make the criteria for that to clear LB6. Like a team wide invincibility for a single hit on Charisma.
Artoria is already the strongest aoe saber in NA. JP buff made her the strongest AoE *overall*.
As for a fun fact, she can technically loop. It is very expensive, but hey, so are Skadi loops ;)

Glad to see Saber is finally getting the love she deserves with all these improvements made to her. Now if only other characters like Mordred and others would get the same treatment. I want summer 3 outfits for the Round Table.

Anyway, onto Artoria herself. I honestly feel like her Newest Buff in JP is 1 of The Most RIDICULOUS Buffs ever conceived!!! I mean, seriously!? It effectively makes her, without a doubt, The Ultimate Buster Servant for a Single Turn, all because her entire Command Card Deck can become Buster, which is INSANE!!!!
As far as what else I feel like she should get as far as Buffs though, Turn her Charisma into "King of the Round Table" EX; it would turn her Charisma into a 10% - 20% Atk Buff for the Party for 3 Turns and give everyone in the Party a 1 Hit Invincibility that lasts for 3 Turns. (Just throwing an idea out there, sine I feel like Artoria Needs to get a Defensive Buff, but not make it something like Protection from Arrows, lol.)
As for who I'd like to see get a Re-Evaluation, I'd like to see 1 of 3 specific Servants: Emiya (I know he already got 1, but I wanna factor in his Newest Buff in JP.), Hercules (His Buff is INSANE, and I wanna see if I'm right about a certain part of said Buff), and Fionn (Since I feel like he's gotten better, and I'd like to see what you think of him now compared to when you originally did his Spotlight. ^_^)

Please do a Artoria Alter (Saber) re evaluation please. She’s my favorite servant and recently got her to NP 5, LVL 100, and all her skills to LVL 10. I just want to know how good she is after her skill upgrade since I think we might get it soon due to the release of HF 3
We all know she's gonna get a defensive upgrade eventually in the form of Avalon whenever DW decides to give her that upgrade to one of her skills. Or we are gonna see a 'new' Artoria being released in Lost Belt 6 in Camelot that has Avalon as a skill on a Merlin invincibility like cooldown.

@ Nice, I pulled my Artoria from one multi summon from the Heaven Feel's Banner.
I ‘just’ managed to get Artoria through the 17 million event and made her a permanent fixture in my roster. She’s been my dream Saber servant for nearly two years now. I hope in a future event I can get Merlin, Archer Gil, or Caster Skadi.
now we need to turn her charisma into one that help's increase the attack of all her allies as well as increase the attack of all knight-type and/or dragon type allies in the party besides herself

If she gets a Crit stars drop rate up in her first skill or maybe a crit damage up she would be really good and probably don't need more buffs in the future

Ya know the sad part is in lore she has basically the most busted defense skill you could ask for and they will just not give it to her 😂

Well, now that the new buff has been introduced, they can basically give her Avalon by adding only 3 effects to her "charisma":
1) remove debuffs on herself
2) 100% (or more) buff removal resistance (1 turn)
3) "Enforcement defense" on herself (1 turn)

For what it's worth, did it really fundamentally change Herc's playstyle or what he does? His buff doesn't really feel like it changes the game for him; it just enables him to do what he did before, except way better.
I literally pulled her the other day, so I'm happy to see how strong our penguin has become.
For a re-evaluation, I wonder if the grade of B-/B+ about Kiara changes with her NP damage buff and the MASSIVE amount of healing she can get.
When you realize her latest buff possibly means that saber Gilles could get a similar buff in the future.
That'd be amusing, but first DW would have to remember Gilles exists and... well there aren't a lot of pigs soaring where I'm standing right now so prolly not gonna happen for a while.
She's the reason why i play FGO, and i still dont have her. She is always top tier for me and every buff for her is just a bonus

I've been spooked by her 4 times so I'm really happy about the buff to her mana burst.
Worth mentioning as well is that her NP overdrive refund is 20% at minimum. That means with her battery skill she can have 50% charge right after her NP with no need for a refund (and thus independent of enemy type, number, or overkill). Pair her with servants that can help her the rest of the way and she can NP twice in a row very easily.
Arjuna would be an interesting one to re evaluate imo. He's one of the Servants that got buffed and one of your older videos. Would be nice to know 'bout your thoughts on him nowadays.

From what I know about him, he should still be eligible for Dragon Reactor Core... the question is if he'll ever get it. I somehow get the feeling that they don't want to risk Artoria getting outshone.

He is now a crit saber with instinct being changed but he still needs work, I would want his third skill the most useless aside from the 20% charge since it only lasts for 1 turn to change. I would want it to last for 3 turns and give it a charisma effect too, as for manabrust it could be anything invincibility, buster resist down, NP damage up, anything something to make stand out.
@@npsheep8811 I'm feeling Attack up, it's the only buff he doesn't have access to in his own kit. Adjusting his Mana Burst to do something special would be neat, though.
I watched your artoria video a few months back once I got into FGO! Busy leveling her up as we speak. Now I just need a craft essence with Buster or Attack up and starting gauge. Can't wait for that 2nd Rank up Quest! Keep up the great work!

Herc or Emiya updates would be pretty cool. Especially since Herc is basically a saiyan now with his jp buffs
personally i would put her at A+ at the same place as gilgamesh , her np damage with her second skill surpasses gil against servants and her busters are monstrous
She is in S in JP TIER along side with Gil and Romulus.
Also, she cannot surpass gil np with extra dmg.

Top three for me are artoria for aoe saber. Ozymandias support damage dealer and xuangzang for caster damage

I'm starting to think Gligamesh isn't as OP as he use to be... He's suppose to be good at most things and then suprisingly do well in boss fights with his NP but it feels like there's just "Better servants to take" not saying he's bad but I think his King of Heroes title should be refreshed in the fgo. The meta just seems to be moving without him

Most of the time he still does the job well enough. He still out damages Artoria in base damage and absolutely murder everything with a couple of Merlins with him.

What’s really hilarious is that I got my Artoria Saber from the freaking STORY ROLL. While I haven’t gotten her second ascension do to not having the materials, I will be working towards farming those soon enough and making her powerful enough for when we get the update in less than 2 years... 2 years... so this is what it’s like...

She spooked me during Guda Guda 3. It still hurts because Okita Alter is my third favorite character in the game and I was unable to get her but the new buff on JP does make me feel better about having Saber now. When the spook first happened I was mad because not only did I not get Okita but I thought this was a bad spook that I would never use. At least now Saber is a good spook for future, Makes the not getting Okita sting a little less now.
I don't have her, but knowing she'll be buffed in a couple years would make her worth building up if I do get her. The buster buff is especially nice since it gives you the ability to set up a buster chain virtually on demand. It would be nice if other servants with sub-par skills get updates like this. Card manipulation abilities offer more strategic options and can help reduce those RNG trolls.
Seiba got her big girl fix and broke the meta in another class, proving that Nasu is practically simping for Seibafaces for a really long while, now where's my Black Knight Seiba Cygames???
Tried rolling twice for her in the Heavens Feels 3 Rate-up. Got spooked not once but twice with Altera and Napoleon!!! I gave up. This bessh don’t wanna come to me.
So glad Arturia spooked me early last year! Been slowly working her skills up and Max Fouing too. She will be beast when she gets this upgrade. x3
The buff to her Mana burst to change her cards to all Busters is cool, but one thing I have a problem with is that you can't use it if you want to NPAA chain with her, to build up to your next NP.

I just got one of these. You know what she should get? A selectable ability, a "pick one effect" ability, similar to Emiya's type selector. Instead though, it would be on her Manaburst, and would allow her to pick _either_ the new Dragon Core effect for DPS, OR an "Avalon" effect that would be some sort of Invincibility/Heal ability. Jeanne Ruler should have a similar effect allowing her to swap her NP to the sword one.

2 years later.... This time with max level 10 mana loading append skill (because servant coins early update in NA). Its super effective
She is most used Servant slightly over Waver/Mashu. I grailed her to 100, maxed her to 2000 atk (HP almost there) and I have her at NP5. I can't wait for these buffs.
Oh yes, the game really did justice to Arturia!, it's a funny history but the time i began the lost JP account 5 years ago and also in my NA account i got Arturia just the firts months after the server opened, she help me a LOT in JP and i love farming with her in NA, this buff just made Arturia much more fun! (Waiting for Animation Update too :D)

Artoria Saber is currently S tier buster AoE unit in JP along with Romulus and Gilgamesh.
I know it's not nearly as flashy as Emiya/Artoria, but can we get a revaluation of King Hassan? Abyss of Death pretty much fixed all the gripes you had with his class
darn, artoria now places 4th on my list of choices for the free SSR. Waver (cuz i'm not stupid) > Ozy (got no ST SSR rider) > Karna (God Karna costume dress + best animations) > Artoria (animations + that crazy new buster changing skill). She'd probably be higher on this list if i didn't get 2 glorious mordred spooks on banners where she wasn't even rate up. Mordred is pretty high up for me not just cuz farming, but that debuff clear and defense up skill that came in clutch way more times than I thought it would, esp since it also has that 30% battery.
Also, let us all welcome Artoria's transformation into a glorious Kaiju
