- We have a date! The new Wildlife Explorers Basecamp will open March 11th. Burrowing owls, prairie dogs, and fennec foxes have already dug into their new home in Desert Dunes.

We have burrowing owls where I live. They're endangered and protected. So, when the owls started burrowing in a playing field at a local school, the field became off limits and now only burrowing owls play there!💕🦉💕🦉💕

Awesome! Fennec foxes, burrowing owls, and prairie dogs. Are they going to be in the new Basecamp exhibit together? All of them? The prairie dogs, fennec foxes, and burrowing owls? Will they get along well in the new exhibit?
They'll be in separate habitats.
