Hi my friend from Philippines here. I’m olanning to use this on my solar setup to prevent my battery from dishcarging below 50% depth of discharge (12.2V) and overcharging it beyond floating voltage (13.8V). My question is which mode should I used? Is U5 mode within range should I use? Hope you can help me. Thanks.

For 12v battery, 10.5 Volts is the minimum voltage at which the load should be disconnected. At max 14 volts, your charger should get disconnected to prevent damage to battery from overcharging.
U can use U5 mode. Set the upper limit to 13.8 V and lower limit 10.5.
If you keep 12.2 V as lower limit then your battery charger will frequently get ON and OFF.

    A good video sir.
can this module be used for a charger output 30A?. Because I see the rating of relay is 10A.

You cannot use it directly. U have to use the onboard 10A relay to energize the contractor or SSR of 30Amps

Can this be used to charge 100 amp battery with 18-0-18 W 5 amp transformer? Pls advise.

You can charge any battery up to 60V ( As its voltage sensing is limited to 60Vdc) any current with the associated control circuit.
18-0-18 V Transformer cannot be used directly to charge 12V battery as it will deliver high current and your transformer will burn.
You have to somehow bring the voltage down to keep the current below 5 Amps.
Remember that if you are not using centre tapping of Transformer then your voltage at the output of bridge rectifier will be 36V DC and current limited to 2.5 Amps.

@@jameelsheik Periodically, when I'm trying to set the parameters on my board, I was getting an EAA symbol. After fiddling with it for a while, I believe that I set the parameters backwards initially. I put 14.4V as the lower limit and 12.4V as the upper limit. When I corrected that, I didn't get this error message anymore.
