I have followed this band since they were little girls. I have seen them progress from being three cute girls with a future to a rock band that is approaching top tier status. This is a power trio, the three girls not only play all their own stuff - they play it really well (I'd put Pau up against virtually anyone in rock music these days. She's a beast on those drums!). They also are writing songs that seriously rock...great hooks throughout. Incredible arrangements. The Warning Kicks Ass! (excuse my language). I am an unabashed fan....

Let me say as a bass player. Switching from a 4 to a 5-string is more difficult than vice versa. Neck is wider and muscle memory wants your fingers to land on strings and frets as if you were still playing the 4. Takes a lot of wood shedding by yourself to get used to it. But it may lead to less instrument changes during a performance to accommodate differently tuned songs.

With this bass, shirt, white shoes, the microphone higher than her sisters... she reminds me a little of Lemmy’s attitude, which is simply great! I didn't even know this was happening until an alert came right before it started. I could not get it live, nothing worked. Thanks Erick for posting this! The audio was muffled, open mics on the feed, out of sync, they cut to the wrong guitar on the QOTMS solo but... It was Sooooo good to see them in action again!!! It must be hard to get fired up to play without an audience and especially after so long in lock down. It's really too bad they were denied that 'charge out of the gate' tour this year. Cool to see Ale's 5 string on Narcisista and it seems to suit her. I think the basement has grown too small for Dany, she needs a bigger stage!! :)

FINALLY! I can hear Ale... and MY GOODNESS! Pau is the BEAST ON DRUMS… but Ale is coming through beautifully. Dany. I can't say enough about Dany. That their births happened in this order is as if it was a recipe for success. A big sister that is so driven. Sweet. Caring. Helpful. Nurturing. A heart as big as my state of Texas. This is what got these girls going. Dany's drive & perseverance. (Not to mention… she's a gorgeous Mexican ALWAYS AMERICAN) It’s in her DNA to work hard. The other two had an example. A template to copy & paste with their own twist on things as they pleased… but it wasn't as simple as that. Pau has surpassed them all with activity… it seems. Ale… that's perfection. What better way than to have 2 perfect sister to guide your way… i love each & every time Dany says "my/our little sister Alejandra!" I wish these girls… their parents… and their team/crew THE BEST!

I think I se Danys old Helix in front of Ale. I agree that working more with effects on the bass could bring more colors and variations into their music. Ale could cover a lot the space that's usually are filled by a second guitar. Bands like Motorehead, Muse and Royal Blood have shown how a bass can be turned into a more active part of the sound.
