As hard as you run for them, it looks like they would give you a new truck.
They don’t care, they would rather give a new guy a brand new truck and the rest of the guys older abandoned trucks.
@@Victoryedsyup. That’s why I left Friday. They don’t care about us. Especially getting that 1% last week and didn’t make 3k to the truck. FM kept me around home (SC)
My 2024 peterbilt, first 3 months. Radiator hose clamps loose and leaking, Battery cable connector broke off, city horn only worked when it wanted and peterbilt couldnt fix it, occasionally would not go into drive, dash would black out on occasion, driver door almost fell off as the hinge bolts were super loose with no locktite, drank a gallon of oil every 2 weeks with no visible leak. Gotta be the worst truck i have ever had. Good luck man hope its fixed quick.
Erudite, you are having a rough week, brother. Hang in there, man. God bless you.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thank you, I will. 🧔🏿👍🏿
bruh🤦🏼♂️aint i get on u about that vest like 6 months ago😂😂 come on now, i can smell that thing through tha phone.
😅
Dangit, boy! Look here, next time you talk to Josh up there in DSM, you DEMAND of him you get one of those new trucks for all your troubles! This doesnt make any amount of sense.
Im actually catching some bad PTSD from when that same thing happened to me back when i was running the black n' chrome. My truck (this was back when TMC still had the 379s) broke down for some reason, i got sent to go recover one of the then-new 389s. Nice truck, far more roomy...thing STAYED breaking down for one reason or another. I finally managed to finesse another older 379 out of them...only to of course then be routed through DSM to he assigned a then-brand-new 579 (when those were fresh off the line). Amazingly, that rig never acted up on me one time the whole time i had it.
In your situation, if the right-side fuel line wss disconnected, im wondering if Peterbilt had to drop the tank on that side. And if they did, that tells me one of two things: either the previous driver got some bad fuel from somewhere (which happens), or something got into that tank that wasnt supposed to be there. Im not shocked that the Peterbilt techs failed to reconnect that line...I've certainly dealt with some less-than-stellar shop workers. But i WILL commend you for keeping a professional attitude despite the obvious disappointment and frustration. I hope TMC sees this and takes special favor on you.
The Pilot in Wytheville is not far from me.
That's a good area for truck parking. 🚛
@@EruditeTrucker I hope your luck changes! You sure have been through it!
Does TMC compensate at all for this time or you’re basically going almost a week without money since your percentage?
After 3 days you get daily average.
You need to make them give you a new truck you done been through to many trucks.
I haven’t watched the end of the video so I hope when I return to finish you are showing us your brand new Pete with plastic on the seats lol!!! At some point (if it already hasn’t) your weekly average will suffer, trust me I know. Be safe out there driver and I’ll return to watch the end and hopefully you’re getting something new.
I’m a nice guy like u bro and a good hard worker, sometimes u gotta let these companies know you got experience and can go to better places even threaten to put in your 2 weeks. Alotta these companies don’t appreciate hard workers, that’s why their turnover rate so high.
Well said
Life of a trucker
Very true!
Sorry to hear you are having this trouble...stay safe Brother!!
If you for see that your gonna be there 3-4days and that’s typical on most these shops get fleet manager to get you and rental car and spend that time at the house and be productive on that down time and if it keep happening if you within 4 to 5 hrs from the house ask for a rental and they will fast track you a new truck😅
Itotally agree.
Now your talking about the fuel tanks let’s go man and make some money
Seems like if you have lots of excuses 😂
Im in kenworth in williamsport pa right now with transmission issues....in a truck i just recovered a couple of weeks ago from kenworth in richmond that was there for........transmission issues.....
I understand your pain. 😅
I really enjoy your videos. I start CDL training at TMC Monday. Thank you for all of the information that led to my decision. Unfortunately i already applied before finding your videos. Hope to see you out there one day.
