- So this happened few months ago (like December). And I decided to edit the footage!
They did a whole bunch of things...time stamps are below :)
I thought that the fireworks were really fun!
And yes, I followed them because it was interesting
Also, this was a hacker, and as I’ve said on another video, I don’t think that someone should ever be hacking. It can really mess with games and it’s not fair for other players. This was before I actually knew that you could report someone, and before TGC was banning accounts. I hope that this helps.

I'm not going to post anymore hacking videos, just because I don't like that my channel has grown because of them. This happened in December, so before TGC made that announcement. I did not report them, but I will report future hackers I meet, and I recommend everyone to do that. This way the game isn't being abused in any sort of way, and it's a safer community. Yes, some things they did were cool, but it's not fair for other players and it can be disruptive.
Going on that, please report hackers you find even outside on Sky. It applies to everything.
Definitely a hacker. That motion he was doing in the beginning is the exact same motion u have when you are dying in eden after u have lost ur stars. FYI Devs dont play like this, they dont use bugs glitches or hacks to change things in game. Mostly devs will be basic characters and are usually just checking things out on the server.
Ehhh I think it’s just some sort of glitching through maps like sometimes I have options to warp to my friend in a different server/place?

Hmm.. i think this player was a hacker. Im not sure about the whole capeless part ( might’ve used in-game glitches to do that but you never know )). The firework thing is certainly suspicious

I find it a bit amusing as to how hackers have become even more common ever since tgc announced they’re going to ban exploiters.
The way that player was moving reminds me of how the character moves after going through Eden, after losing all your winged lights. It's almost creepy to see that motion outside of Eden. It's so out of place in the Daylight Prairie!! :')

@@cringerealm7185 Oh! Well first make an account on your original device. I think you can do this by going into the settings of the game. Then you can log in on your other device, the new one, and boom, you can play. (To log in on your other device, the “login” option should pop up just before you start up the game.)

BRUH RUN-
You have nothing to worry about, no one can steal your Deer mask. Many skykids like to over exaggerate Hackers skills. Most hackers don't wanna harm anyone they just enjoy helping others and having fun with the spells.

Okay so everyone’s said it but haven’t given a reason at all tho it’s quite obvious.
Not a dev. They wouldn’t do that.
They’re a hacker. They did a hack to remove all light and put himself into the eden state. You can tell cause that’s the eden walk of death. He then gives himself one star in hacks to revive light. Then he takes it away for eden death state again. You lit him and it worked perfectly fine, he just didn’t have any light.
He can also switch his animations around for hacks so he can unlock any emote, walk, style, flying, cape upgrade, etc. at the push of a button. That’s why he can spam big call as well.
Also capable of cosmetics at any time and no cooldown for table, fireworks, or spells. He probably is capable of hacking spells in at any time as well.
Hackers are not dangerous to the point of where they’re going to steal your information and your account since there really is no possible way to do that in the game. Being around them is harmless. However what isn’t harmless is the fact they can place down multiple tables, use multiple spells, and fireworks such as that and overwhelm the server, causing the game to crash.
You will get an “attempting to reconnect to server” pop up and a retry button that doesn’t work. You’ll have to wait for the server you’re currently connected to to entirely empty out and “reset” (start over like no one has been there. Candles unlit, no burnt plants, etc) or to be manually reset by devs when reported.
Basically: not harmless unless they’re malicious to purposefully cause trouble. They rarely light players because they could be reported if caught. Hackers are also able to get future items not yet added into the game such as the violin coming up, which is usually exclusive to devs.

The thing I don't get about these hackers is how they're supposed to steal your items? It's not that I doubt it's happening, but after seeing the Videos here I remembered some Sky hacking we have come across in the past. I mean most of us remember random players suddenly wearing unreleased outfits and hairs about a year ago right? The hackers basically unlocked everything by unpacking the client files. literally all they needed to do was change one line in a file from a no to a yes. that was fixed by tgc a long time ago, but the system should still be the same. The Outfits all already exist in your files, it's just a matter of the game unlocking them for you. They are not items you can hand over to another player. It would literally require to transplant a game setting from one player file to another . So how would "taking" stuff from you even work?
They got the IP address of their acc, so basically it’s not stealing ur things, it’s stealing ur whole acc, and they could use something to change the ip so the person who had it originally won’t be able to get back in
@@hope4snickers697 your Sky account doesn't have an IP address, IP addresses identify devices on a network (like your phone) and are also harmless (if I told you my IP address, you wouldn't be able to use just that information to do anything to my account even if you could somehow reassign a new IP address to me).
The only way to steal an account would be to get someone's google/apple app store email and password, but these guys can't get that info from you just by meeting you in-game, so don't worry. Just be careful where you enter in your info online, outside of Sky.

@@hope4snickers697 If people wanted, they could get your IP address off of your youtube comment alone. The thing is, IP addresses aren't useful. You cannot exchange files with just an IP. You can only really locate their network and even then, you can't modify anything on that network remotely without remote access software both downloaded and approved by the device admin on both devices. Unless TGC coded in a way to modify other other player's clientside files from player accounts, the whole "stealing items" thing is likely a hoax meant to deter players from getting cosmetics for free. If it was a genuine issue, TGC would have patched it out by now or at least made it more of a priority than patching out small idle animation bugs.

i dont think a dev would do weird stuff ingame. especially because some of this tricks can actually cause bugging, because these need to be done by interfering the game files and coding, so if the hacker is not being careful and prudent it can cause their own game to bug abnormally and eventually other players' too. im sure devs look just like any of us.
this player is a hacker, obviously. it can be some lesser problem like someone who just uses codes for fun or someone who can do the coding job themselves. if the latest, they have much more power and even over other players. they can store your user id, steal your items and idk what else.
please dont play with ppl who are acting strange and especially if theyre doing weird stuff that you wouldnt recognize as an exploitative bug (normal things like capeless, etc). sure they may be harmless but the chances of them being dangerous or not are 50/50.
as possible, please report people doing strange things. i personally think little typical hacks like spamming fireworks or dropping winged lights arent dangerous, but the weirder the tricks, the more probability of them being harmful for you and other players, especially veterans. please be careful.

yes, certainly itd be necessary to hack google or facebook account to access sky data. ios devices happen to be more secure, so android users be sure to check on your accounts security and passwords. and also i knew too that purchasing stuff in different sky sessions with the same google account can cause items to switch between accounts, so even if its for gifting, do not hand anyone your google account. prefer to transfer money instead of allowing third party to use your account.
even though, id like to still say to stay away from weird players. even if they cant directly harm you giving them clout is not okay. please dont feed them, though this is more of a moral take. hacking/moding/cheating is not allowed by sky TOS so dont do it nor encourage it. ty for reading

Honestly true, hacking isn’t a good thing in general, but honestly, if your gonna do it, just spawn a bunch of fireworks and stop. That’s cool if you do that. If you steal peoples things, that isn’t cool, at all.
But, the person didn't steal things? They didn't make anyone jealous. Yes, a little bit annoyed. But in other games, hackers always make people angry. Like, playing hide and seek game but they hack. Isn't it annoying af? And sometimes hacker can also hurt the players in other games.

:o I'm pretty sure I met this person-- they had the same exact outfit and # of cape wedges and did the same tricks (the honk spam, eden walk, firework spam, wing level up, etc). I sat down with them and they typed something in Russian and said claimed to be a moderator (I know that's false). I met them around the same time you did and reported them. I have a video/ some pics too.
there's a lot of people mentioning thatskydeer's warning post. I talked to them recently and just wanted to repeat what I said here (which is also on their story about this): most of these "hackers", if you're talking about people like Vi Thai, would more accurately be called modders/dataminers. They use a 3rd party apps and scripts written by other people to do harmless tricks and activate inaccessible cosmetics in beta, but it's unlikely that they can actually hack into your account unless they have your Google/Apple credentials, and I doubt it's possible to just transfer individual cosmetics like the deer mask from one account to another. Be careful about clicking links online and about where you enter your email credentials, but don't let these ""hackers"" scare you too much with their talk and tricks.

ok, so--
stealing individual cosmetics is probably impossible. such a feature (giving cosmetic from one account to another) doesn't even exist in Sky, and also virtual items don't work like irl ones-- if someone wanted to get a cosmetic illegitimately, they would set some value in their local copy of the game. in the case of the violin, this value probably gets sent to the TGC servers so other players can also see their violin. in the case of custom cosmetics like Vi Thai's, it's local only. there's no such thing as "stealing" a virtual item in Sky
as for stealing whole accounts? so let's see the ways to connect a sky account: email/icloud/gplay, and account ID
it's possible for someone to steal your whole account if the gmail/icloud account you use for Sky gets breached elsewhere, but then that's not even a Sky issue (just be careful what websites u put ur email and password into, use different passwords, etc). also, i guess if someone hacks google/apple but...yeah, that's a whole other issue.
if someone gets your account ID, then MAYBE they can get your account IF they manage to trick TGC customer service, since you can't do anything with the ID on your own, but I'm guessing TGC has measures against that. one note though... in the Chinese version of Sky (managed by NetEase), the account ID method is much more of a threat, and yes, people can get other ppl's IDs illegitimately using another app... not sure if I wanna go into detail on that here though.
btw sometimes people have had their candles taken away by TGC because they were led by someone else who was using a candle farming script, so ppl's friends have lost items, that may be why? either way, contact TGC if that happens and just report "hackers" without giving them the attention they want.

The hair changer isn’t only from trials, it’s from if u die and come back in general, I played with a friend who lost their light in wasteland and their hair was changed when I got them lit again, and same in eden a friend I lit them up and their hair changed

The sky devs would add any mod or glitch to even ever make that possible he most likely made his own hacks and used them. If he wasent so sure he would of crashed the game from the amount if call spamming and firework spamming. Im not sure but if it gets any more serious of him glitching into ur servers randomally contact the devs and screenshot his charahter and send it to them, if i were u id just turn off my game if u had any contact with him he would be able to steal ur flaps, accs or sum.

that's not an items spoofing hacker. they simply modify the number of winged lights they have to 0 and lock the value so it doesn't increase (resets whenever you restart the game) and speed up the game by at least 5 times to increase the firework staff recharging speed. amateur stuff.
there are so many different hacks for this game such as teleporting to each and every winged light in the game, lighting and collecting all the candles in a map, equip any item in the game (although only the hacker could see them; except for items that can be placed on the floor - tables, bonfires and swings ~ etc) and other hacks like infinite stamina so your cape is always charged, having level 20 capes, teleporting to spirits, maps and so many more.

I wouldnt think TGC would hack in there own game.. i imagine them as normal players, moths, chibis, veterans, any outfit (they might have exclusive items only available for the devs for a short period of time before it comes out)m and they would check Sky, check the servers, see how everyones doing, then leave or also have a fun time on Sky

I used an app called Luma Fusion :) There's a lot more you can do with it than in this video. I recommend Luma Fusion, you do have to buy it, but I'd say it's worth it. It's a lot like other video editing programs, but made for mobile devices like iPads and phones. I'm still learning how to use it, as there are so many features!

I actually met a moth hacker it had no wing no instruments on the back but playing instruments.i could not do anything until he got into isle of dawn i followed him until he did a friend request and he actually got a single wing light but has limited cape power.she showed me oobs by sitting then the call.

No. Devs operate on a different server similar to the live version which is called beta. They wouldn’t mess with live because it already has a lot of bugs in it.
