Keep moving forward is my motto in life. Whatever happens, failure success whatever, always keep moving forward looking for the future and not staying where you are
Amen my man. I fell in love with this line as a kid. This movie, that line, stuck with me my entire life. I love this movie so much. I love this movie so much, that I just got "Keep moving Forward" tattooed on my arm. As a permanent reminder of the greatest advice I'd ever gotten in life.
this movie is so underrated. this scene in particular illustrates how wonderful and inspiring it is to grow up in an enviornment where your failures and successes are celebrated for the opportunities they bring. lewis, having grown up thinking that he had to be perfect to earn love, created a space to fail spectacularly without fear of rejection or abandonment. he broke the chain and made a family that wouldn't suffer they way he did. he allowed himself to be as eccentric and experimental as possible because that's who he truly was and who his adoptive parents accepted him for. there's so much love in this non-traditional family. i love the respect this movie had for kids. it didn't belittle them, taught them that their failures and feelings weren't shameful, and that they are worthy of being loved no matter how they grew up. you can really see the meaning that the writers intended shine through.
you can hear it in his voice at 0:22 that he's prepared to be yelled at and admonished for failing - for trying hard and not succeeding. it's heartbreaking to hear his voice. you can tell he's built up this mentality that he has to be "normal" but he just can't seem to do anythig right, and that he's only allowed to be experimental as long as he's "earned" that right with a success

I find it amazing how so many people have been impacted by this movie. And we use keep moving forward in the hardest of times to well keep moving forward.
I always find myself coming back here after stressful times in life, big failures or disappointments, or just when I feel like I’m getting into my own head. This movie is one of my favorite Disney movies for more reasons than one.
Considering how Uncle Bud doesn’t have 3rd degree burns and his pants lasted that long, I consider that a success. Burn Mitigation is the next best thing to complete fire proof.
Great lesson. It's simple, but not easy. Something I remind myself each day as I continue to get older and what I try to practice and set good examples for my younger siblings and my nephew/nieces.
Quoting a badass from the Yakuza: "The man who gets beat down isn't the loser. The guy who can't tough it out to the end, he's the one who loses" If you failed but didn't gave up and, as they said, keep going forward, you are on the right path to reach success. However, if you just give up after failing, then you REALLY failed.
To quote my dad, “You’re always gonna have struggles in life. What’s important is that you stay in the fight. If you never had struggles to begin with, then you were never fighting to begin with.”
my rendition of the quote I made is "forget the past look to the future and keep moving forward" this was my senior quote and I live by it to this day!
This Disney movie opened my mind. That small phrase saying so much in the moments we need it. It works too. Helps bring anxiety down.. 😊 Just KEEP MOVING ⏩ FORWARD...

I wasn’t expecting such a good reaction from the fail, but I guess that’s the Robinson family. This film is do darn underrated when it should be more well known, at least Disney acknowledged it when they included some of the characters in Once upon a studio.
Failure is not an option we must fail or we can’t improve we must learn to step forwards but we need to learn to step back or we won’t walk like you should just like trying walking is the same
