If you were to get the right mixture of people that are stable this would be a phenomenal show and worth following. Please get rid of that awful Cath

yep, it is what turned me off watching on tv....Shame cos Yvette is usually a calm lady... for most episodes... But if women are screaming go to another place and scream not down the publics eardrums we don't pay TV licences just to be cleaned out by constant long drawn out screaming ...Go back to your day jobs and leave it to these with those who have more experience how to handle the situations

I see so because they scream that makes it real? or is it because its english and not american? I've watched at least 5 seasons of this show and I've yet to see one piece of evidence of the paranormal. In fact most of the time the camera's are pointed at the investigator's
Know this old but I've been to brinkburn for years and it's so not haunted! I play piano music on the organ and enjoy the peace surrounding this place. My dad and I laughed at this 🤣 😂. Yes can be eerie in the basement in the house but I promise u it's not haunted! Except for the bats u hear in the priory haha 😄.
I think Cath was hired to scream, to increase the hysteria and fear-factor of the show. More annoying than scary. I would have lost my voice long ago if I had to scream as regularly as she did.

They would have had a place to keep those who died in the winter. Because the ground would have been to hard to be able to dig graves. They would have waited until Spring and the ground thawed to bury the dead. I have loved this show since the first time I watched it in 2004 while I lived in Arizona. I think I have watched all the episodes at least four or five times. And enjoyed them as much as when I first watched them.
The mist in the cellar is sure proof. I've seen it myself.. it moves like a very fine snowlike flurry

This show has not changed its format since they shafted Derick. It set the bar for paranormal shows for the first three years of its showing. But now it is a sad parody of another time. Whether the show is legitimate or not, they have a reputation for shafting everybody who made them famous. Many wonderful people in the community have nothing good to say about the couple. And so now they are left with unskilled drama queens and fools. Their reputation means they have gained access to some of the most incredible locations over the years. They should be considered pioneers in this field and looked upon with admiration... but they are simply awful people and their profit driven agenda follows them.

Not quite sure why the screamy lady is actually on the programme. She doesn't seem to provide any voiceover, she's not the historian, she's not the medium or the camera operator or a skeptic providing a different view on things...I wonder whether the programme advertised for a screamy lady specifically to make the viewers jump? Because look petrified and scream seems to be her main function....

41:20 This cellar was probably only the monastrys wine and food cellar.. as cleric people had a real good life and had the best food they needed a huge storage place to feed the full monastry and as this cellar its the coolest place in the house they would have used this cellar to storage the food: meat, sausages, veggies and wine and beer barrels..usualy eaven the kitchen area would be down there.. perhaps the monks were eaven brewing their own beer down there in one of these rooms.. not a mortuary storage.. dont think they would put corpses that might have died on plague and other diseases where they would store their food.. they would just burry them quickly on the cementry or bring them down into the crypt underneath the church or a bone-house.. if someone died normally, they kept the person on the bed as they do today in the retirement homes or lay them eaven in one of the main rooms on a big table (as they do today at home funerals). I dont think they would have put fouling corpses where they storage their own food... not speaking of the horrendous stench of death that would have polluted their entire food.. if it was a hospital during the war.. ok, perhaps.. but not in the centuries before.

And don't scream go outside calm down relax if your scared and afraid or fear them Makes ghost's and bad spirit's stronger so they can steal energy make you tired more scared.

Love this program ,but like all the other comments , too much screaming . And to be honest what is that girl there for , always moaning and screaming. Well put together show and filmed but so spoiled by someone who has nothing to give but scream.

I see what everyone is on about but these episodes are actually a few years old. Their new stuff isn't like these at all. They have their own you tube channel which they stream very recent episodes. They do live feeds as well. Its actually very good so maybe give it a go 😊

Have every square inch of the area you are exploring covered by cameras and mics. Have on enough light to capture everything. It’s not enough to see/hear things YOU do then scream to be believable. Honestly. If you have a legitimate show, have a legitimate set up.

Personally I think this programme is going down hill. The constant screaming, that everyone is commenting on, is absolutely beyond belief, it is so so annoying! The Medium, I don't really rate either. The Historian just wants to get her face on screen and don't get me started on the boring monotoned voice belonging to Ciaran O'Keefe. Shame really because this used to be a good programme, but I think we have seen the best of these!!!
