I own this chair (blue) and I like it a lot however this is my first wheelchair so i have no idea what other chairs are like? I will say that it is a rugged chair that I use mostly on my property and it works well there except when the ground is slopped and the grass is wet. The learning curve is rather steep on controlling it, it's real easy to get behind on the joy stick movement and have it going all over the place. After a little time behind the stick all is well and it is easy to maneuver once you get it. I weigh 320Lbs which is nothing for this chair. It's four years old now and I just replaced the batteries which is rather expensive but I can't complain 4 years is a long time for batteries for chairs I understand... Subbed
Thanks for watching and for contributing your comment. We really appreciate the sub! It's definitely a great power chair, but wet grass with slopes are difficult for almost every chair. Especially front wheel drive.
That's perfect! It takes some time to get used to it if you are using it for the first time. It just takes a little practice. Thanks for stopping by our TH-cam channel.
I am highly upset that I'm being forced to have to use a mobility chair. My depleting physical health has caused me to have to get one. Thank you for the info. I hope to have one soon

Hello! A family member has this exact unit. They have an above knee amputation and also stand approximately 5 ft tall. They struggle while climbing into the seat due to height differences. I understand the foot plate is height adjustable. Aside from the foot plate, is the seat height adjustable as well - as in, can the seat be lowered down, closer to the motor/wheel unit? Or anything else that can help bring the height down? And lastly, any suggestions for a 4 wheel mobility scooter with a similar large seat size (28")? Much appreciated!
Hello, the seat can be adjusted in height. On the H-Frame look at all 4 mounting points. If you see any holes there should be room for adjustment downward. You have to remove the seat to get a better look. Other than that, theres no way to lower it. I got one for my sister. It’s tough trying to get used to the controls.

I saw that the armrest are expandable. Can you tell me how far they go out? I need a wide seat that might allow for couple inches more room.
Wow that's nice
It is! Thanks for watching Vance!
What about the Merits Roadster S4? Do you like it for outdoor use?
That's a scooter. This video is of a power wheelchair. The roaster is great though!
Do you ship to MN? Also, curious if you accept my insurance.
