It's crazy how much changes in 10 years. I remember these commercials as a kid. Watching them now when I'm 19, I feel like I'm watching stuff from the 90's. It's cool!
Speaking of which and totally random, but I was watching a "nostalgic late 2000s and early 2010s commercials compilation" video and a lot of those in there were things like you stated. I think it's because there was some law in the mid 2000s about limiting commercials for children. Also, there's a lot of those compilations with the same commercials, which sucks for various reasons. Either way, I enjoy rewatching commercials on TH-cam.

I liked some of the shows Nick put out that year, including Just Jordan, El Tigre, The Naked Brothers Band, just to name a few. I also remember the Summer that year. Last Day of School was on May 25, and Summer Vacation lasted all the way to August 24! Where I lived in Georgia (East of Atlanta/Hot-lanta), that was one of the HOTTEST Summers I ever experienced!
Yeah! I had the one where the guy that placed the dome over the city said, "All eyes on me." And I had one of Homer Simpson saying, "Yee Haw!" The latter I used to annoy the living crap out of my Mom with!
These commercials really hit that nostalgia spot. I remember when I was little, my brother and I used Go-Gurt and other cash prize contest as one of our "get-rich-quick" schemes to get money over the summer. Those were the days. Neither of us won, tho. 😂😂😂

Ah I remember some of these commercials like it was yesterday (such as the Nick Magazine and the character morph). Too bad I relied too much on the sponge (I did occasionally watched the sitcoms, Jimmy Neutron and FOP during that time period though) and now look where are we today.
