It is said that Nagase spent 7 years in a space mission to clear some asteroids and prevent another Ulysses-like catastrophe and returned just in time to be greeted with Trigger's climb.
Perhaps another Arkbird really was built, but one capable of more then just orbital flight but deep space flight, it is probably what Nagase was returning to earth in.

I just S-ranked the PS4 port of this game on the normal and hard difficulties, and am currently 5 missions into my expert playthrough. I also have all the aircraft except for the Falken. I unlocked it of course, I just have to save up the money for it. I also shot down all the named aces. I’m excited, this may be the first game on PS4 that I get the platinum trophy in. That is if I don’t platinum AC7 first
Not really - to that end, something like SOLG would've been better, or a meme mission like in "Armageddon" - but shoving a kilometer-scale 'roid from it's trajectory is easier said than done. Your biggest weapon is foreknowledge - if you know of it in advance, you could use something like the SOLG to divert it from it's current trajectory, or a powerful laser to use light radiation pressure to divert it, or even a solar sail - but if it's right up in your face, your best choice is to put as much firepower on it as possible to disassemble it, minimizing the effect; a thousand 5-ton rocks impacting the earth is a helluva lot better than a single 5K ton one, and the more broken up it'd be, the more would burn up in atmosphere. It'd still be a shitshow, but it would'nt be an extinction event.
@@shrk128 I think that even slamming Arkbird into that Ulysses asteroid would be a good move... Not to mention to load it with nukes and use laser before slamming it with nukes... Just put some thrusters on the Arkbird to move it out of the orbit and into collision course, far far from earth (Strangereal)...
Wow Nice Thumbnail certainly got my attention. Though even looking from YT the 1080p HD upscale really Ruins the Overall Look of the Visuals as it makes everything WAY Too Sharp and basically Exposes the Graphical Imperfections of Poly counts etc. Example the Afterburner Visuals don't look like Raging Fire and is missing the Blur same goes for Fog and sky textures
This level on japanese version of the game is hard than the American version which I don't have any problem taking it down but I do still take damage. Honestly don't know why it's more easy in the ntsc u version than japanese, hell even the mission aces was hard as hell in japanese version (allot of missile following you mostly gun tower firing it to you) even on easy mode (both version were played on easy mode not very easy)
Destroy the five secret hangars in Campaign Missions 12A, "Powder Keg"; 12B, "Four Horsemen"; 16A, "Desert Arrow"; 16B, "Desert Lightning"; and 27, "ACES" Try to do that in campaign.
Nagase: "When we're at peace again, the president will build another one for us"
President then replaces the Arkbird with Arsenal Birds
Space elevator ?

Gotta love that all these pilots are pretty verbose and philosophical while dealing with G-forces.
Real pilot at 10g: Hrrrrrggggghhh!!!
AC pilot at over 50g: *Begins Nobel peace prize winning anti war speech*

Yeah, they said the same thing about the Titanic. *Look how that turned out*
Anybody else recognize the voice of Knocker for AC7?

Dont worry, the ark bird is invincible!

Lol.
Thanks Dante! I needed those views- took about 12 screenshots, got about 6 new details not seen before! :D
Awesome, let me know if you need to view a specific angle, I can make vids for you.

You are the one that helped me unlocked the s32 guess what I have the adfx01 to
That thing could have been enough for humies to go to Uleses and or any other asteroid and move it away from earths path...
That and SOLG also...
