What I consider complicated in these talk shows is that the host always try to be the funniest, the smartest, and to have the spotlight. The guest is completely ignored! It is deplorable!
Besides, American talkshow hosts forget that foreigner guests not always will be able to guess their jokes, bcz of cultural differences. So the guest feels obliged to make believe a smile or a laugh to not let the host feels bad. In this interview, Monica Bellucci did not have much other alternative but being superficial, as the host did not say anything useful anyway. A woman beautiful like her will hardly be taken seriously. I feel bad for her as a woman. What a waste of time to her here!
JEEZE....As an italian, it's sooo odd to hear her speak another language...And you can immediately tell that she's italian, but she's been talking french for so long...Her accent is a perfect mix...Even when she's talking her language, it sounds a little unnatural...
He keeps interrupting the flow, he is repeating things unnecessarily, he doesn't get where she is going, he is talking too fast to be comfortable, and he is awkward in his touching :S

His jokes are pretty easy to get... I am italian and i get his jokes... there is not that big of cultural differences, i mean its not like if he was having an asian guest where in that case really the cultural difference is like being from different planets... i think its her personal way to be, she would have acted like that with italian host too probably, not saying she has no sense of houmor, she just is very calm, serious, and sweet at the same time
Nice, but the interviewer is paramount as when he is crap, we don't get the best of her; we don't get how she thinks, what is her world-view, etc. For example, this guy doesn't let her finish her sentences, constantly interrupts and changes direction before the topic is exhausted / complete. This is really annoying. Sometime interviewers can do that with a purpose, when they see their guest is struggling with the subject, but this is clearly not the case here.

Sometimes the language gap can stop you from going on a "deeper" level in conversation. It may seems that she speaks a very good English but her thoughts and talks are much deep when she speaks Italian. I don't think she was very comfortable there, she was just trying to fit.
Craig Kilborn should have never of retired especially when those unfunny woke no talent idiots like Noah, Fallon, Colbert, Kimmel, Meyers, Corden, Oliver and others are still on the air. Kilborn's line that he could help Bellucci win an Oscar and to stay away from Freeman and Hackman's trailer was hilarious.
