Another thing that missing is the idea and I have seen the reality that pickleball is the gateway to tennis. Kids learn a racket sport then find out they like to run and are athletic then start playing tennis. This is actually what is going to happen. I know a kid this happened to. His grandparents showed him pickles and now he is on the tennis team.
Maybe you should start using the tennis courts then. I live in a wealthy area and those courts are spotless and unused. Until we started using it for pickle
Its not going to replace tennis any more than it will replace basketball, or any other sport. People that are athletic will want to play a sport that maximizes their athletic potential. Tennis will always be that sport and we will always admire them. There is nothing to admire about hitting a wiffleball. However, that is precisely why so many like it. Easy. Accessible, anyone of any age can play. 50 percent of the reason people play is social not athleticism. But there is nothing worse than standing there for 30 minutes waiting to play. Waste of time. Go play tennis.
Pickle ball players are not taking over basketball courts though… Only tennis courts. Even though technically, they could since they bring their own nets. But everyone would think it's fucked up. But somehow, taking over tennis courts is supposed to be just fine. That's the reason why some people don't like pickle ball. It's stealing tennis courts away. It's a bully sport.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! It’s always refreshing to hear different perspectives on sports and their social aspects. Tennis will always have a special place in our hearts!
Pickleball is just a matter of choice... you know, not everyone can pay 100k $ per year for tennis training and so on. And perhaps you've not heard about inclusivity? What you say about that?
@@goggleboy2464 you think so? I really hope so cause I'm worried it's gonna replace tennis. its already so hard to play tennis now with the courts being replaced.
@@Tennislover511 lots of injuries in pickle ball. Most people playing will be crippled in 5 -10 years. It is dispicable the usta using tennis money to support pickle ball and former tennis pros taking the money supporting pickle over tennis
It has no correlation to tennis. You have to unlearn tennis to play it the right way. Its much more like pingpong. The dink shot is seriously monotonous. But its easiness is why its so popular. No reason someone can't play both.
0:19 - "No need for fancy courts" because they have basically taken over tennis courts.
That's right, nowadays it's about the only thing which matters: money😢
👍🎾💪

That's an interesting perspective! It’s amazing how one sport can lead to another and inspire kids to get active and enjoy athletics.
No reason to hate it, until they started drawing lines or flat out converting tennis courts

Tennis is usually much more interesting to watch, but for average folks pickleball is much easier to get into.
Absolutely! Pickleball is like the friendly neighbor of sports-easy to play, and always ready for a good time without the serious racket!
Happy to have more people doing sports, that's for sure. As a tennis guy, it's irrelevant to me.
Indeed, it's great to see more people getting active! Thanks for the comment and for watching, too.
Pickleball is all ok, just don't stop maintaining tennis courts, because I love tennis.
Totally get it! Tennis courts need some love too! Can't let pickleball hog all the spotlight, right? 🎾😄
Let's go!💪
Home😂
Cheers!👍

I like pickleball! it's fun and can remain active, but for sure that's nothing like tennis...come on
True, pickleball is like tennis’s laid-back cousin who shows up to family gatherings in flip-flops and a Hawaiian shirt!
Crazy

Word on the street about pickleball?😅 I'd say it starts with c and ends with p 😂😂😂. Come on, is this even a sport??????

@@AmeliaPearson-iu3nfi say the same, it's just c....
😂
That's kinda harsh from you. Everyone should choose what they play and like as sports...just sayin'😁
Tennis is by far much more spectacular, don't understand the "appeal" for pickleball...isn't that like crypto now??? Just sayin'😅
Can't agree more with you

Thanks 🙏
Hey, is it the volume or the song choice?
What would you recommend us to use as background music...any good ideas?
@@TennisExtra1 thanks for replying
Appreciated
Probably both really 🤔
Good content .. trust yourself.. no need to add too much extra noise

The question of the century: do you guys think pickleball will replace tennis in the next 15-20 years? I'm gonna start and say yeah...😁
If pickleball replaces tennis, then guess we’ll all have to start practicing our “pickle serves”!
Maybe not, tennis is the king of sports!
3/4 of pickleball players wont be participating 5 years from now
