That car is a twin turbo making 5400hp. No one else is anywhere close to that hp. Nitrous and pro chargers are around 3000-3500, screw blowers 4000-4500. Victor Alvarez said they can’t slow him down with weight because weight sometimes makes turbo cars faster. And if they add a lot more weight they will exceed the limits of the chassis certification.
@@Radial-racer Can they use more than 2000 in the first half ? 60ft and 330 times and very close From 3.56 to 3.59 is not much either but the speed is 10-12mph more, that's just power.
Turbos. Turbo cars dont make as much low end power BUT a supercharger takes 100's of horsepower to turn it and turbos are basically free so turbos make A LOT more top end power.
@RealDougFields He's spooling before to as much as the track will take, not quite free power , the boost is less than the backpressure it creates on the turbine side
Awesome job guys filming. Congrats Ken Q
Love the top end view
Steve Petty at the end. Yep, that’s what you pay me for….
I root for the blower cars, not that other ones would lack in power, but how come almost everybody gets to 209mph and one goes 219mph?

Yeah, when you watch Mark Micke in that turbo car run he’s a little slower first half and pours the power in from 330-660

That second round was a shit show. What happened?
Miss read the track. Tuners are priceless but not perfect.
Look at the car counts trying to make the show...take the Pro Mods back to 1/4 mile and you'll see the real vs the poser.
You sir have absolutely no clue what your on about.
