How To Create A Woven Photograph Design

This is another older video I came across that was never shared on this platform. Using basic tabby weave and a source image of their choosing, my 7th grade Art Club students created woven pictures. Supplies needed to complete this project include scissors and/or x-acto blades, glue, 2 copies of a source photo (one in color, the other in black and white), a ruler/pencils. I recommend having your students practice this woven pattern a bit before attempting a final project.
