How do you get a acient vault in stead of a normal gold vault

I have stacked vaults before to but I have one question when you open the vault when are you able to reopen it with more loot in it

@@jensbesselink7083 Oh its very late, but to get Ashen Vaults, you have to buy the voyage from the Outpost in the devil's roar. They'll have a red border and will only be in the devils roar

Dude my crew is coordinated in one way. They know that at any time I will just cannot myself onto islands to check shit out. Or if we are doing vaults I'll cannon onto the parchment islands.

I stacked 250k loot and felt great about it then i saw mixel in my recommended lol, also how long did this take you?
Way too long.. like 12hrs? It wasn't too bad, but the server lag went from 80 to 350 at the very end. It was a mess

And he has to perfectly, evenly spread them around the ship. Would take hours just to do that.

i cant even imagine this, buddy and i stacked 7 vaults as a duo sloop and moving the loot from the boat to the shore took longer than gathering all the keys and doing the vaults on its own. this scares me
Do loot stacks cause fps drops? I just built my pc and I wanna know what to expect when it comes to stacking.
With this stack at its peak, when looking at the "one" pile, we had 30fps from 100 and our ping shot up from avg 80-90 to 350.
My favourite parts of sot is the water by sanctuary and golden sands and the fact that sot takes up little space for how big the game could be if activision made it if activism made it it would be 5 terabytes

Mixel, can you provide some tips on how you deal with the eruptions constantly at the areas? How do you ensure your ship remains safe without having to waste hours of waiting till one is over?
Hours of waiting? An eruption is a couple of minutes
@@seanaherne6128 It takes about 5 minutes PER eruption, and you're always a man down trying to check if (and save the ship in case of) a volcano erupts.
And with a lot of vaults... that time adds up.

edit: also. you guys can stay in the vault when it closes to collect gold. you got the hidden door, then you have the vault door, as long as your ship is still at the island, the hidden door will stay open. so as long as you get all the loot outside the vault door and your ship is next to the island, you will be fine to collect gold. unless your going for speed, not amount
Yes, but the floor gold isn’t really that much worth it. It’s much better to end it quickly and get more from only chests. At least that’s what somebody who failed to do a single one without the volcano erupting 3-4 times, sinking the boat twice, and losing all the loot because the door closed after too much time thinks.

The loot respawns when you put the key in

I've done 1.8 millions with 7 ashen vaults using the Gold&Glory bonus and the goldrush bonus. That was a juicy x7.5 multiplier
god I love that storage crate update how you can just pull all of the loot out at once
Imagine running into these guys after grinding for like 3 hours+ with a reaper emissary on and you just get taken out in like 5 minutes tops

How do you cancel the digging animation? Mixel does it at 7:28 and it looks like it makes digging a lot quicker.
Switch to a sword or another item or something and switch back. So if ur shovel bind is C switch to like a compass or something and quickly switch back using C

I think If you pop a vault quest in the devils roar your vault is gonna be located there so it will be ashen. The loot you get will srll for more as it is ashen

I just did a vault stack yesterday
They're going to make a loot storage device for you for what you've started.
Tip: when having a storage crate you can pick it up can take it from the barrel without it out one by one.
this was 2 years ago when the game was better and that wasnt a feature yet

When you do vaults do you not stay inside when the door closes to grab all the floor coins? You can keep grabbing them until you drown

Ok 2 questions 1. How do you do the shovel cancel and 2. How did you guys not get attacked with all that loot on you
These are just normal frames and ping for me lol
I have learned, through a lot of trial and error, that in SoT, taking the extra .5 seconds to do something accurately on the first try is a lot better than spazzing out and trying to do it at the speed of light, failing 4-5 times in a row and having to redo it, then finally getting it. Just like with the "loot, sprint, drop, repeat" method. If you drop the item and miss it even once, you have negated all the time you would have saved by doing the method in the first place. Just run with it normally.
If you don’t practice loot running, you’ll never get good with it. Once it’s muscle memory, the time saved is worth the occasional slip-up.
@@bumblegoot1139 I have tested it multiple times. Running alongside someone just doing it the normal way. The only way it saves any noticable amount of time is if you are running ridiculously long distances.

@@bumblegoot1139 It is only faster if you do it to literal perfection. As I said in my OP, if you miss the pick-up even one single time, you lose all the time you would have saved, and it becomes SLOWER than just normally running.
@@Evravon Easy solution; practice to perfection. Nowadays, out of every 10-15 loot items I loot-run, I only mess up the tech on one of them, and I’m still getting better even on varying pings. You’ll lose time in the beginning, but practice makes perfect, and nowadays I often sell twice the amount of loot compared to others in my crew.

is it still possible that you can 3 people on a sloop still also wouldn't it have made more sense for you to be a reapers emissary so you can get more for the skulls aswell
