In the UK our water management is neglecting our waterways as well. One reason why we have so much flooding is because they are not cleaning and dredging the silt. Our sewage is let into rivers as our population is too high for a small land mass and the management have neglected building sewage farms to keep up with the increase in population. Being overpopulated will always require waste water, treated or not, to enter our waterways. Good luck and many prayers for all suffering around the world, allies and enemies.🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Lawsuits in the courts now because they want us landowners with frontage, across the street and out lots to pay the bill. Thoughts on this?

If they are smart and once water levels receed they will cement in that area near the farm and create an emergency spillway there. Should have also sent in a crew to cut the timbers long before the waters reached this height so they would go through to the river below but hindsight is always 20/20.

  • @sharonr1824

With any luck, that break on the side acting as an overflow, will take a lot of pressure off the dam, allowing it to remain intact. That's a lot of water roaring through there.

    • @sharonr1824

@@alliematt1016 Part of the reason they are concerned about the Dam. All that debris puts stress on the dam, and can cause it to break. The fact that the areas to the side gave way first, taking a lot of the water pressure away from the main area of the dam, might keep it from breaking. Only time will tell.
