Couple other fabulous summer yarns (full disclosure, I work at Pick Up Every Stitch in Mt. Kisco NY a couple of days a week to keep me in yarn and you can call them and they will ship!) Sabri II by Illimani is a cotton blend with a bit of alpaca for softness-worsted weight- I knit the Tolsta Tee and the In BeTweed out of that one and I'm about to cast on the Kiley you mentioned. Pika Pika by Moondrake is just a delicious fingering summer weight blend by Moondrake that comes in incredible colors. I've knit the Vibes Tee and the Alpine Bloom out of that base. Another yarn that people are just snapping up is the Soyez by Fonty which is a DK blend of wool and silk. Lots of people making the Cloud Top out of that yarn. Again, fantastic color options. There are more great summer blends in the shop but I just can't knit fast enough to knit all the things I want to!
Kaci! You are my spirit animal! I’m old enough to be your mom and you are everything I dreamed my daughter would be! You are my mini me and an amazing “Victorian” woman of craft and love of life and the creation of the arts and more!
I recently knit the Summer top by Ankestrick and it’s probably the best fitting thing I’ve ever made- highly recommend. I love the shoulder construction and the slight waist shaping.
I like the look of the vacation vest. I think I would knit it long enough to hit about mid upper thigh so that it could work as a bathing suit cover. Another possibility would be to knit it longer, like a duster. Right now I am knitting my winter sweaters so they will be ready for the cold season. In winter, I will be knitting all my summer knits.
I am really excited to try a sweater in the Hobbii Seashell yarn. I recently bought two skeins each in different colors both to see what the colors look like in person and to make some summer shawls. I bought a sweater quantity in one color, as well.
Lovely collection..several on my list…my current summer top is the rosenroot one that I saw on Amy palkos mother a year ago and regretfully I started on it in Antigone linen (about that time I got the thumb injury )when I was about to finish the neck lace. And as linen is hard on the fingers I was hoping for the stockinette to go faster but that will wait couple more days… but thanks for the collection!
I'm currently knitting the Kylie Pullover as I watch this! Its easier than it looks and I had the pattern repeats memorized by the first cable. Cant wait to wear it all summer!
Thanks for all the suggestions! The Journey Socks by Heidi & Lana are a no-show sock that I think is great. Also Sweater Freak has several options for summer tops. Love your videos and appreciate them so much! 😀
Thank you for great recommendations! I’ve found it hard to find summer tops to knit as I’m quite particular about the types of necklines and straps I like for them, but here I found a few I really like. I’ve been eying the Lavender Tank Top, but I also love the Tide Loop Top and Pine Berry.
we are heading into the depths of winter in Australia, but out summer climate is regularly over 30 degrees (i think that's around 90 in Fahrenheit) so i definitely love all your warm weather suggestions for patterns and summer appropriate fibres. my favourites are the leela and the lavender tank top.
The Kylie pullover has an interesting construction. It may not be intuitive for some and there are similar tops with a more simple construction, so I think it will depend on confidence level of knitter.
Thank you Kaci!!❤ I am planning on making the lavender top, but would like to convert the pattern into a crochet version if I can. Also love those wavy socks. 😊
Can you give us some more suggestions for summer yarn for the lavender tank? I don’t think there are a lot in DK that I personally know of. I’m not interested in holding two together because that makes it cost twice as much. So any DK summer yarns you can suggest would be much appreciated! ❤
I've been looking for some shortie sock inspo and I got some with the V formation, thank! Also, the Leela top might bump something off my current summer project list....
Thank you for the great pattern recommendations! I’m wondering if anyone can recommend a good cardigan recommendation. I have some merino silk fingering I would like to use for a cardigan that has lace.
The garden cardigan. The knitting place is doing a KAL and instructional zooms available at any time. There maybe 1 class less left for this one. Its a very nice lacey all over, cardigan.

I love the Tide Loop Top 😍
What a great list. I was delighted to see the Pyramid Light. That looks like something I would enjoy making. Thanks for the recommendation

Some great ideas here. I’m not big on summer knits but I quite fancy some of these.

Hey. I like your list. I am just knitting from skeindeers summer collection. Have a great day
Thanks for the video, I made note of three of the patterns to add to my wish list. Very informative video!
