Their music is nice to listen to, their voices are very different and give a lot of variety to the music, their MVs are amazing and the choreographies always complement the music very well. It's very catchy. It's amazing that they've been in the industry for so long and are still in the top.
As someone that loves a lot of groups, twice really stole the top spot in my heart for a million reasons. There is a reason they are officially South Koreas National girlgroup and also the BEST SELLING GG OF ALL TIME!! Twice has a MASSIVE catalogue of music and somehow they are ALL GOOD! There really aren't any misses and I've never experienced that with any artist ever. Not to mention they LOVE LOVE LOVE Onces. No offense to other groups, but Twice connects with us more than anyone else. They give us so much content and love. It is a literal TWICELAND they have created for us to be together. As Dahyun says in "You Get Me" from Twices With Youth album- "when I'm with you I'm the best me. You make me glow...wish we could find a place where we could be free together" Welcome to the land of Twice. They truly make everyday better and brighter!

Similar to you, on Wednesday I had to put my 13 year old dog, Chopper, to sleep so he wouldn't continue to suffer, it has been so hard and just as Twice does every single time I listen to them, it made me smile! Kinda like a light in all this darkness I'm experiencing right now

Though the instrumentation and some of the production choices are more modern, this really reminds me of 2nd gen, back when it seemed like the winning formula was to start with the backbone of smooth ‘90s Pop R&B vocal melodies and amp up the instrumentals a notch or three beyond. I know k-pop’s general thing nowadays is to abruptly mix things up, but I love how smoothly and unwaveringly this song chugs along while managing its intensity levels pretty much just by fiddling with its layers rather than swapping out wholly different “feeling” segments.
