As a person who took many psychodelics in my life, I would never ever do this in a ceremony like the one they attended. I think I would be deeply traumatized by this thing.
Actually it hit me when they said they had qualifications because they gave them to themselves. How self-absorbed does one have to be to simply rist other people's mental health because you and your friends decided you can heal others of trauma having absolutely no medical background whatsoever. Unbelievable.
when i see (some) white dudes surrounded with "authentic" eastern fabric design and a mashup mess of eastern culture calling themselves "Shaman" doing shrooms in a room full of people with trauma, im out of there, these are YES troubled people but there is NO healing going on here, shaman my ass opportunist is more like it, these are the guys who memorize a terence mckenna lecture and try to pass it on as their own
Me too .. in a bad way, my heart always sinks when I hear than sound, and it leaves me full of negative emotions, can't explain why 😖 There's a youtube ad that uses that same sound, and when it suddenly pops up during a video a feel like smashing my phone.
Psychedelics are amazing. I was diagnosed with BPD since my teenage. Spent my whole life fighting BPD. Also suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.
Yes he's Dr.alishrooms. Shrooms to me is a natrual healer. I know a guy who has used mushrooms in the same way and they have really helped him. mah dudes have safe trips all.
I wish they were readily available in my place. Microdosing was my next plan of care for my husband. He is 59 & has so many mental health issues plus probable CTE & a TBI that left him in a coma 8 days. It's too late now I had to get a TPO as he's 6'6 300+ pound homicidal maniac. He's constantly talking about killing someone. He's violent. Anyone reading this Familiar w/ BPD know if it is common for an obsession with violence.
I was horrifically depressed since childhood. It was relentless. I assumed it would ultimately end me somehow. About twelve years ago I randomly accepted the offer from a friend of a few doses of mushrooms. I did them two consecutive nights alone. First night was pretty mild. The second night? Wow. I saw my depression from every angle, realized much. Next day: depression totally gone. Never came back, never coming back. It's like it's a forest far away I can remember, and could probably find again with enough effort, but it has zero impact on anything in my life or mind. They honestly saved my life and improved it immensely. I never did them again, either. I wish there was a good, organized way to administer them to people who would benefit from them.

DMT, LSD, and psilocybin mushrooms are truly remarkable. A few years back, I was grappling with severe depression and mental health issues, and was diagnosed with BPD. It wasn't until a friend suggested psilocybin mushrooms that things began to change for me. It was a lifesaver, and I've been completely clean for 6 years now.

Hey mates! Can you help with the source? I suffer severe anxiety, panic and depression and I usually take prescription medicine, but they don't always help. Where can I find those psilocybin mushrooms? 🙏
This is the reason psychedelics have such a hard time being accepted by the average person, we need to get the spotlight off these new age counter culture untrained professionals!

Actually come to think of it, you would probably be fine as well......because the support is there. If the support wasn't there, then yes, you could be in hell.....lol
I so agree. This is 'hipster' BS. The amount of oxygen in the room alone and all that hot breath in one small room can not be good to ones senses. It really seemed like they knew they were short on psylocibin so they decided let's get them all to hyperventilate to get them feeling as if they are 'high'. Totally irresponsible. Total BS. I’m an open minded person. I’ve taken shrooms, LSD and I’m open to many other psychedelic experiences as well as being very interested in all the real, scientific research going into how psychedelics can be helpful. However, the minute I started watching and then finished watching the “shroom ceremony” and the interview with the three woman in white, making the claims they were making, I just wanted to cringe. These are the people giving psychedelics a bad name! Makes me strangely angry as I do worry they’re the ones that hinder research and the move towards them becoming more freely available.
Yep....apparently the kind of people who join this kind of things love to get sexually abused, and then cry about it 😂 They can't be *THAT DUMB* to not read the whole "vibe" these type of "gatherings" and "experiences" have about them 🤦🏻♂️ My take is that they're just lonely, desperate people.

Yes *Mr.Luccas024* ..Mushrooms are very medicinal. This is why anybody familiar with psilocybin and any other kind of fungi will tell you, "They are alive." They have a very ancient wisdom. To my experience, all mushrooms have always said, "Pay attention to your life. How you think, how you feel, and what will you do with the information that you always knew, but now are seeing in this point of view." This is why mushrooms are so respected in tribal cultures. This mental health treatment works for me too. Half micro doses do the trick for me. At least a few days at a time with lengthy time in between. Never addictive. Thank you for sharing this point!

There recently have been (and there are ongoing) university studies that show psilocybin, the primary hallucinogen agent in shrooms, can have a very positive effect on end of life anxiety for patients with terminal cancer. I was hoping to give them the benefit of the doubt that it was being administered in a mentally/emotionally therapeutic sense and not in a physical “cure cancer” sense until they seemed to suggest that.

@Lightman I've known hundreds of people who have taken psychedelics (and met thousands at Burning Man). One thing is abundantly clear when you meet people who use them even rarely: they tend toward less consumptive lifestyles. They just don't like useless crap at the mall or on Amazon as much as most other people do. For that reason, I disagree with you; psychedelics would not be good for capitalism. They might be good for the planet since people would stop the endless, useless consumption like mindless consumer bots, but for capitalism--which obviously spells the doom of our specie's continued existence on this planet if not slowed down really soon--they would be a welcomed disaster.

I guess I just want somewhere to share my story. When I was 19 I took shrooms, and it was like I was turned inside out. As a child, I was very extroverted and loved being around people. And after the shrooms, I felt disconnected from everyone and everything around me. I just wanted to alone. I am learning to feel happiness from within myself, not running from myself. @@sammerritt4272 i dont think mental illnes plays a role here, this happens either because you took some crazy amount of drugs or you are just extremely sensitive to them.
13:55 Really sounds like they have no idea what they're actually doing. All of them answering different stuff at the same time, just like when a teacher asks you something you don't know and you have to improvise. Just gather a bunch of vulnerable people and say you're healing them, that's what they do. When people are going through very sad times in their lives, is fairly easy for them to feel good on these kind of events. The Psychedelics make you experience a different reality (and escape your own) and the organizers create a "good vibes" enviroment, filled with understanding and love. It might be good, but I don't believe it's actualy helping people to solve their issues.
You sound like someone who has never done psychedelics, respectfully. It's not all that simple the way you break it down and anyone who has experience with psychedelics will instantly know this and look at this comment as close minded. Mushrooms in particular have yet to be used to their full potential hence the growing popularity. Mushrooms come in different strains, dosages, methods of taking them, etc... I believe people who are experienced know Mushrooms are more of a tool than a drug at all, and have felt the connectivity to one's self and the universe. They make you look yourself in the face in most cases and access from the inside. I believe in the future mushroom therapy will treat depression among other things and hopefully people will get rid of the pharmaceuticals that are killing people. The tools and instruments and techniques these people use aren't just used to "create good vibes". Energy and vibrations are real and something that can be felt. This can be a powerful experience. Horrible take
@@Tristain850 I never said this isn't a powerful experience. I did say it might be good for the person who is experiencing it. About me, yes, I have experience with psychedelics. Also, I think is very important that science starts using these kind of substances in actual treatments for different types mental disorders, such as depression. The thing is, that has to be done in a responsible way, using scientific methodology, just like in any other treatment. I don't feel that the environment portrayed in the video is as serious as it should be. Like I said in the comment above, they sound like they have no idea of what they're actually doing. People are suffering and dying from depression, there are real and serious ways to help these people. Having a good experience with a psychedelic during a day doesn't necessarily mean you're recovering and getting better.
just like with NLP, taking a dose out of a psychoactive substance can show you a different set of lens which you can choose to adopt or not. Ayahuasca can have a drastic effect on how you view the world. Iboga can do that even more... You go there to forgive yourSelf; I'd dare say it has a paranormal , if not supernatural connotation on what's happening at a spiritual level; and this video shows the wrong way of doing a ceremony, with lots of people in a tight space; I did Ayahuasca with 3 people and two facilitators. I experienced the only way I could describe it as what holy men feel their whole lifetimes: Grace.

Same. Imagine being psychologically vulnerable, even more than normal because you're tripping (and yes I know what it's like, it's a very emotional experience), and having people wailing, yelling and screaming around you.

Let’s be honest that one redheaded girl no doubt was using it recreationally thinking that it would make her happy through all of this pain that she’s going through, people have to understand that these substances amplify the emotions you’re already feeling unlike many other drugs that dampen emotions

the politicians understand it, they just want to grow the prison system and have more unpaid laborers. In the USA especially because of the prisons being for-profit.
Absolutely. Anyone who tries to make the psychedelic experience like this; bohemian, intense, mystical, dark etc is trying to illicit something else out of the experience. I got that vibe twice, when the guy brought up "screaming and crying" at the beginning (this is a psychological suggestion, especially considering these people are about to eat mushrooms) and when the three women were interviewed together whilst posturing and yammering over each other. They're trying to squeeze a little something out of the setting and get it into the heads of the people who probably PAID to be there. Their aesthetic is all wrong. The "shaman" are unqualified, anyone can say "I worked with the Shipibo" etc... I'm just glad people are doing psychedelics together, but honestly the culture we try to associate with mushrooms just dilutes the spiritual nature of tripping.
Why must everything be so perfect? Just let it go. I think it's a wonderful doc and with beautiful people who has the courage to share their knowledge, even if some voices shakes. 💚

So best I can come up with is wherever we go in our minds is on some level real and our minds are somehow connected. I’m just wondering if anyone else has had experiences like this or where I could find other peoples stories that may be similar ?
I can't completely blame the guy, because what he did is stupid and more people tend to do stupid stuff, so of course it isn't completely safe. But what a lot of people who listen to him don't think about is that even doing that with such a seemingly harmless drug like acetaminophen or probably even ibuprofen or paracetamol would have killed him.
@@jackel477 I agree completely. Its like saying we should make all knifes illegal because i chopped my hand of while peeling an apple. Treat a knife or a bottle of LSD with some god damn respect.
People need to understand that mushrooms are in no way a party drug. It's a very serious typically spiritual experience. Don't mix substances you wouldn't be drunk in a church.
@@psychyplug7305 who tf buys drugs off insta and snapchat, and advertises on youtube? why would you buy off some random guy on the internet with no seller rating system like the deep web marketplaces? And might i add, what an excellent comment to choose for the one to try advertising lol, someone who clearly doesn't use them recreationally.
I love how the guy who literally took 4000 mics is the one saying it should still be class A. Sure, he's seeing visuals 4 years after the dose, but if you took 40 times the dose of alcohol, or pills, you would likely die. There is no way that LSD should be classified as it is.
@@user-lp7tx1fe6t i have something to this degree but it’s not noticeable much at all. very slight and only noticeable if you look for it /smoke too much weed
exactly, Take 15 times the dose of alcohol you will die! but its legal. If you have mushroom or lsd you can get your life destroyed by the legal system "up to seven years in prison or an unlimited fine (or both) for a Class A drug". its the only real danger with psychedelics in UK lol
Psychedelic is the answer to most severe anxiety and depression...The use of magic mushrooms completely helps one get over depression and makes you feel like yourself...I used antidepressants for some years but it only made me feel like a zombie but with immediate use of mushroom 🍄 in few months I feel like I'm living a whole new Life.
Psilocybin containing mushrooms save my life. The drastically reduced my benzodiazepine withdrawal allowing me to quite illicit pill addiction after three years of heavy daily use before it would had became medically dangerous to quit
As someone who is used to trip in really small group of close friends, I find this crowd-tripping quite interesting. Definitely can make you forget yourself and become a part of a big human organism

StalkerGtfo ya but it’s probably not that bad. You probably got minor hddp I have the same and it doesn’t affect me in the slightest it’s honestly kinda enjoyable
My house used to have gatherings like this. I put a stop to it after a bunch of people started accusing anyone who wouldn't take the drugs of having "dark dirty energy" and otherwise acting in a more and more culty way. There are so many stories that would make me seem crazy to recount. I can't tell if the problem was the hallucinogens, or the way that the hallucinogens make people pliable and thus vulnerable to those seeking to build up a cult following. There was also a lot of overlap between the Mushroom Ceremony community and the MLM (multilevel marketing) communities; basically, the two seemed to share certain ideological foundations like the Law of Attraction (mind over matter; no need for things like science, medicine or economics as long as you think positively) and a tendency to scapegoat autism along with (or as an embodiment of) science as central to some general ill gripping modern society. Also in the mix were some methods of artistic performance training that seem to be designed to internalize trauma as a form of method acting-forms of training which deliberately blur the line between the real and the imagined within the mind of the performer. In general I tend to like the hippie-ish community for its creativity and warmth, but it has this dark side that is not described enough. I can't be the one to research it because I mostly severed my ties with those groups in order to protect myself. But there is so much more work to be done here.

How do I reach out to him? Is he on insta

I have been dealing with HPPD physical and visual symptoms along with derealization every minute since a mushroom trip back in 2005. Thank you for also mentioning people like me, even showing that interview with an HPPD-haver, in this informative and interesting video. Blessings on you guys.✨

Have you seen a professional for it? If so what did they recommend? How do you get through your days? 💜
HPPD is a rare occurrence, which happens in people with a predisposition to mental illness or take a dangerous amount of a psych. Hope u get better.
Damn! That's over 15 years. How are you holding up?
It’s just a load of bollocks really isn’t it

just like with NLP, taking a dose out of a psychoactive substance can show you a different set of lens which you can choose to adopt or not. Ayahuasca can have a drastic effect on how you view the world. Iboga can do that even more...

That being said, I don't think its for everyone and if someone is worried of the effects, then maybe they should try searching for a place that monitors them professionally. What really ruins it for society and people are those that take stupid amounts, and those that take it several times over just for shits and giggles. And might i add, what an excellent comment to choose for the one to try advertising lol, someone who clearly doesn't use them recreationally.
@@clemfandango274 Yep DNMs are the way to go for psychs
like hell have you ever been to church its boring as hell if they served drinks i would be drunk of my ass
I love how the guy who literally took 4000 mics is the one saying it should still be class A. Sure, he's seeing visuals 4 years after the dose, but if you took 40 times the dose of alcohol, or pills, you would likely die. There is no way that LSD should be classified as it is.
I'd rather die than have visuals for 4 years
@@user-lp7tx1fe6t i have something to this degree but it’s not noticeable much at all. very slight and only noticeable if you look for it /smoke too much weed
exactly, Take 15 times the dose of alcohol you will die! but its legal. If you have mushroom or lsd you can get your life destroyed by the legal system "up to seven years in prison or an unlimited fine (or both) for a Class A drug". its the only real danger with psychedelics in UK lol
"i spilled it on me... and drank some..."
if u drink lsd u deserve the years of hppd. why in gods fucking name would you drink pure lsd

I've been having this constant, unbearable anxiety because of university stress..not until I met Myco_louiis.. he really helped me
Psilocybin containing mushrooms save my life. The drastically reduced my benzodiazepine withdrawal allowing me to quite illicit pill addiction after three years of heavy daily use before it would had became medically dangerous to quit
Saw some reviews about myco_louiis,checked him out and I must recommend he is good at what he does
How do I find him
His on Instagram
dude thats way too many people to trip with at one time
I've been to festivals where 90% or more of the 5000 people are on some psychedelic. It's actually really fun.
if you're a noob
@@holdmybeer what i am really trying to say it sucks tripping with emotionally fucked up people and i am far from a noob
As someone who is used to trip in really small group of close friends, I find this crowd-tripping quite interesting. Definitely can make you forget yourself and become a part of a big human organism
Not so much the amount of people but the whole group ceremony thing ... I dunno, it's a bit cultish.
Good job on reporting both sides on the study, having a proper source for each side, and also talking about HPPD. Well rounded video. This feels like the old Vice, more content like this!
StalkerGtfo ya but I feel like he was very biased that never happens unless you take a shit ton which he did. Like if it were legal he wouldn’t have done that specifically.
Breach Perplex I’ve gotten HPPD for a couple months and I didn’t even take a ton.
