Renewed calls for House Speaker's resignation: MP panel - May 21, 2024

The Conservatives are again calling for House Speaker Greg Fergus' resignation, this time over an online post inviting people to a Liberal event. The invitation took direct aim at Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre.
The Liberal Party says the inclusion of the text on its website was a mistake and was added automatically by a computer program. The party's national director, Azam Ishmael, apologized Tuesday afternoon in a public letter to the Speaker of the House.
