[PSR Series]Timeline of an L-type Star - Planetball
This is about the evolution of a high mass brown dwarf(Mass is 0.06x Sun) and its planets.
You can go to en.m.wikipedia... to learn about what is “L-type”
    Music used:
    Kevin MacLeod - Garden Music
25 is a good number, because it is 5^2.
Planetballs are basically same to polandballs, the only difference is the character, not countries, but space objects including stars, planets, moons and even galaxies.

Actually there is a lecture explaining that Brown dwarfs below 75 Mjup cool down to Y type in less than 20 Gyr. (Brown Dwarfs Substellar, low-mass stars - Dominic Goodman) - thought could be useful.
    According to it:
Your typical 60 Mjup BD would take about 9 Gyr to do so.
A +75 Mjup BD cools down and shrinks enough to ignite hydrogen fusion by 5 Gyr at least 2000 K temperature.

There are 90-100 MJ brown dwarfs that do not ignite sustained hydrogen fusion but have an unsteady form of it. They cool down. a 90 MJ brown dwarfs 10 Gyr old is now (if I rememebr correctl) 2400 K in temperature and is expected to cool down by about 100K/Gyr.

I think you should do a whole bunch of different types of binary stars with planets, that would be really cool (especially if it involved a black hole)

    • @deltainfinium869
      @deltainfinium869 2 ปีที่แล้ว

I've always wandered what'd happen if an M-type and G-type star were in a close binary.
The g-type would go red giant, but the M-type would absorb all of the outer layers by tidally leeching it, but from there I don't really know what happens to the G/M type star beyond that point.

@@deltainfinium869 How close are we talking? Within an AU? Within the orbit of Mercury?
If we're talking within the orbit of mercury or so, the two stars would collide long before the primary's red giant phase due to chromospheric drag, which decelerates the stars over time and is the same mechanism by which the earth will likely fall into the Sun at the peak of it's red giant phase. Hence a slightly bigger star is formed which then behaves as a solitary star.
If they are far enough away from each other for this not to happen in the pre-red giant lifetime of the primary (at least 11 billion years), the primary leaves the main sequence and begins expanding, and once it reaches the roche lobe of the secondary M star, it begins feeding the secondary, gradually losing its own mass. In this case, it probably won't lose enough mass to cease fusion altogether. Instead the once-primary will eventually go through it's truncated red giant phase and collapse into a helium white dwarf. If the secondary didn't accrete enough mass to leave the main sequence earlier, it eventually falls into the roche lobe of the white dwarf, being torn apart and consumed, leaving the system contained within a solitary object. If it somehow does live long enough to leave the main sequence and begin evolving into a red giant, it will meet the same fate as the primary, having its mass eaten away by the white dwarf. The white dwarf may undergo occasional nova events, but is not in danger of going supernova, as it will not be massive enough to do so. After some time, the secondary either ends its life and collapses into a white dwarf or loses so much mass to the white dwarf primary that it ceases fusion altogether and devolves into a brown dwarf-like object, often dubbed a 'helium planet' as it is likely to consist of almost pure helium. Here, the two scenarios converge into one, as the ultimate fate for this system is to spiral into itself and merge into a single white dwarf. The end result is likely a high-mass helium white dwarf, perhaps around the mass of the present day Sirius B. The components are too light to produce white dwarfs that could one day accrete enough mass or collide to form neutron stars or type Ia supernovae.
Most white dwarf-star binaries are currently higher-mass stars and don't often involve intermediate or low mass stars, due to how long they take to begin evolving. As the universe gets older, more of these systems will be formed and new types of white dwarfs, such as high-mass helium dwarfs, will form that don't exist yet. The universe is very young still and the vast majority of all stars that have ever been born are still alive. The smallest stars that could have possibly left the main sequence by now are around 95% the mass of the Sun, and the smallest stars that could have died are perhaps very slightly less massive than the Sun, although we don't think intermediate mass stars formed until the Universe was over 1 billion years old, so it's likely that no Sun mass star has died yet, and the smallest star to die is around the mass of Alpha Centauri A at best. This least massive star to die might be considerably more massive than this considering metal-poor stars take longer to evolve and die than Pop I stars like the Sun.
