excellent Justin keep them coming buddy I watch them all thanks
Ahh- gotta love these ol' 375's!
Thanks. I always do.
are these large rocks he is looking for not caol? are they granite?
Oh no I always use Canon. My camera is actually outdated now, and it's only a year old. It's a Powershot A1100IS. I just updated to Canon VIXIA HFR10 HD cam.
I know one thing this operator is not digging coal he is milking his shift period
Yeah the sunlight reflects off the bottom rock like a mirror. The coal goes through a screener and crusher to remove the rock before it actually goes to the plant. But by picking out some of the big rock with the excavator, you save time.
I always let the operator know where I'm going to be standing and see if it's ok. One thing you never do is just walk over to a machine thats running without first making visual or verbal contact with the operator.
I don't know, this isn't Texas
@komatsuguru Then you've never been to an anthracite coal mine. But you are correct, most of the time draglines are used to move the overburden, but not always true in anthracite because of how the coal runs.
That is such a tiny machine for loading those huge trucks, an insect compared to a P&H 4100.
@erichansen82 No he's loading coal and picking the rock out of it. The rock is called pottsville conglomertae
@MrMedderzEa Your welcome! I'm not sure how many hours are on her.
how many hours is on that 375 she's looking abit tired, good video's you have on your channel it gives me and many others a good insight into what mining is all about thank you :)
I have never been in a mine that has used a dragline to load coal. In most mines, at least in the US, draglines are used to move overburdin.
I will and glad you enjoy them!
What kind of camera do you have? sony cybershot?
Thanks man!
Thanks
