Personally a man who has to have his pyjamas ironed each night, takes his toilet seat on every visit abroad, has to have 1 inch on toothpaste measured on his toothbrush, has never been faithful to his wife (even though she was not his choice) and during the funeral for his "Mummy" when he and Camilla had to sign the official papers, called the man who was to take away the signed papers "slave" (I and my son heard it and Camilla was very embarassed) (what I have written was relayed by his personnel and royal biographer), well I don't like him anymore although at 4 years old, I was madly in love with him - lol !!!!

My heart broke when our Queen passed because she had always been in my life, even as a child.I lost my husband only a couple of years ago, but, I even shed a tear for her. We will never see the likes of her again.
The Queen passed away during the week of the Proms. That night's concert became a tribute to her with only two selections - the piece of music she loved and had at her wedding, Elgar's 'Nimrod', followed by God Save the Queen, then silence.
I just found your channel and as a Brit I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this. Jerusalem - well I have no words to explain the emotion I feel. You let this play out without interruption. God Bless you and your family ❤

i always get emotional whenever i hear Jerusalem, i was born in London just a few hours after the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth, and just a few minutes walk away from Westminster Abbey, listening to God save the Queen had me crying like a baby, it still seems strange to sing King instead of Queen, i dont think i will ever get used to it. it wasn't by Jerry and the pacemakers, it was a cover by them. I think the song is from the musical Carousel.
Thank you for this. And for all you said after it.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving with your lovely family. Thank you for reacting to this special day that takes place every year and for your very kind comments regarding our dear late Queen who is so sadly missed. Take care Squirrel and stay safe. 🇬🇧

I'm thankfully for you bro, you ignite so many emotions, you make me laugh and help to cleanse my soul, don't ever stop 👍❤🏴
Damn Ezza I appreciate those words. You were one of the first I felt truly connected to through this channel. You’re one of the folks I truly hope to meet someday. You’re one of the ones that makes me see and feel how much this is worth doing. Much love my friend. 🐿️❤️🇺🇸
@@TheRealSquirrel there you go triggering emotions again 👍
I thank you for your kind and meaningful words on the loss of our Queen. I subbed cause of this
Benny Thank You for your support. Each and every member of what I refer to as the squirrel squad means a lot to me and the conversations we all share are held close. Be well and welcome
I am an Englishman and of course I've seen this video many times.. It's, 6 Dec 03-05hr, unable to sleep so l watched TH-cam and got your reaction to this video and thought your comments regarding our late Queen really moving. Now that my eyes are moist I should be able to sleep easier. If I have any more problems with insomnia I'll let you know. I trust you and your family of Squirrels enjoyed Thanksgiving. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.. Stay Sefe Pal.
You were not alone in getting a little misty. Ex-soldier with a lifelong respect and devotion to Queen Elizabeth. Been hard - my Honk Kong born wife considered the Queen her British mum. Emotional stuff all around - thank you for the reactions. A personal favourite for the Proms would be Land of Hope and Glory (our unofficial anthem) - "Elgar: Pomp and Circumstance | BBC Proms 2014"
I’ve added that to the list of prom songs I need to do 😉. Thank You for sharing your story and for your support
Ex Crab Air here. She was our Boss mate and never let us down. I was 5 when she became Queen so I have outlived her reign. What a terrific woman and what an example of duty and loyalty.
And respects to you Sir.
bless you, we all still miss the Queen so much x
Bless you, Squirrel. Thank you for all you do. Wishing you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving and holiday season.
Thank You and a great holiday season to you and yours
Last night of the proms always special never miss it. Those standing at the front are the promenaders the parks from all around Britain have their own concerts but all join for this final night. It ends a summer of music concerts up and down the country.
Thank You appreciate the support
What a wonderful video, thank you for doing this,I also teared up and felt so overwhelmed, Best Wishes💞
Thanks for those kind words for our Queen,I loved her dearly, thank you so much xx
Yep. Tearful again at God Save The Queen! 🤦♀️. I knew I would be upset when she passed but I did not realise just how deep rooted she was in my heart. ❤️
Totally agree.
I went to a 'Last Night at the Proms' concert in Germany in around 2004. It was a great experience and to see the concert hall full of German folks singing Rule Britannia, Jerusalem, God Save the Queen etc., and waving Union Flags was simply amazing.
You darling young man.... you need to look at all the videos etc round about our and your beautiful UK ! Enjoy !!
have a happy thanks given, love to all from an old Brit x
Your kind and thought provoking words at the end Mr Squiz…. 😨😰 (I’m blaming it on those damned chopped up onions ….. not me getting over emosh….👀🥺)
Hope you have/had a feast of a Thanksgiving with the wife and family and thank you for just being Mr Squirrel xxx 😘
I personally, will never stop missing our Queen - I cried at hearing the announcement, watching the vigils, at her funeral ceremony and when her lone piper played for the last time … 😥and I still find it hard to accept that she is no longer with us - Christmas Day will be strange - listening out for Her speech at 3.00pm, that has occurred since forever, almost - and just NOT seeing her looking calm, dignified and just being The Queen…
The biggest shoes ever to fill. Thank You for your kind message. We had a beautiful gathering yesterday and had over 30 friends and family at the dinner. Well worth the over 400 mile journey. Tonight we have a surprise party for my son Shane that should top off the trip perfectly. Thank You for your friendship and continued support.
A great clip for people who ask "why aren't the British patriotic".
Happy thanksgiving have a good one 👍 from the UK 🇬🇧
Thank You
Thank you for being there too...happy thanksgiving ..love and blessings from the UK 🇬🇧🇺🇸
It’s been my pleasure truly. Love and Blessings right back at you from the USA 🇺🇸
Thank you for not interrupting in these videos. Your respect is invaluable. Hey part of Scottish is a good thing
Happy Thanksgiving Tony. I have been following your channel and really enjoyed your journey through British culture.
The Last Night of the Proms is a British Institution. This version of our national anthem is my favourite and never fails to make me shed a tear.
Thank You Paino. What a beautiful thanksgiving it was.
Thank you for your kind words towards our departed loved Queen Elizabeth.
I'm 62 years old, thanks yank. Live long.
Thank you for this U tube clip. I thoroughly enjoyed it. What you said about our beautiful Queen was just wonderful and it is so true, she was a remarkable woman, loved by so many and is sadly missed . Thank you again 😊
The Queen was the Grandmother of the world and now we are left orphans.
Everytime I see the Queen I still miss her god bless ,🇬🇧👑🏴👑
Happy Thanksgiving to you and all your family and America.
Thank You Charles. It was a glorious day
Now watch Rule Brittania, from the same event (although it may be from a different year), usually involves a bit of fun with the audience, or "promenaders" as they are called.🇬🇧
Thank You I’ll look for that
@@TheRealSquirrel Rule Britannia - Last Night of the Proms 2009 is highly recommended. Conducted by American, David Robertson
Sung by Sarah Connolly
Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving gathering with your family! 🐿️🏴
Happy thanksgiving, Squirrel and your family from Suffolk England
Happy thanksgiving squirrel , I always watch the proms it's a fab way to show our patriotic side. 🙂
Thank You Clare
The dignity you showed during our NA is commenable sir
Squirrel, you have a really nice way of expressing your feelings, and understanding, and empathising with others. You have a good heart. Bless you. If only there were more like you. Sheffield South Yorkshire.
I still well up everytime I watch these. I miss her so much, I just never imagined a world without her, and now it's here, it's a colder place than it was before.
Thanks for covering these, they mean alot to so many.
Hi. Your video just popped up. Its sometimes difficult to find the right words but for so many reasons - thank you. Happy thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and all the Squirrel family
Thank You David it was a beautiful day! Hope you’re well my friend.
Hi. The outside is Hyde Park simultaneously broadcast on big screen.
Happy Thanksgiving.
I have recently discovered my English ancestry, living here in the Deep South America! Thanks for sharing this video! It’s good to know my heritage
Her majesty was a time keeper, my 77 year old mother said "I can't imagine the world without the Queen" and yet her we are.
We may have a new King, but as a nation, we are still lost without our 'mother'.
The loss of her will take years /decade to get over 😞
I worked for her majesty she love her people and even more as a soldier, her majesty loved all her of her armed forces and people from the commonwealth
Wow.. I’ll be honest I normally roll my eyes when Americans say “ hey I’m ??? % British “ but you really warmed my heart when you explained and your words were lovely.. …also Your words about our Queen started me bawling ( Again ) not good when I’m crocheting ( the coronation blanket for our King …your king 😂) as it tends to wet the yarn and I can’t see a bloody thing..Thank you.. and hope you had a fantastic Remembrance Day.. 😊♥️🇬🇧
Happy thanksgiving. And thanks for the joy of hearing music and voice that makes my hair stand on end. I am glad I found you. I love your sentiment. ❤
Thank You Irene. This was a truly magical piece. Thanksgiving was beautiful. A glorious meal with more then 30 in attendance.
Thank you for kind words regarding our late Queen Elizabeth II. So kind of you and welcome to being part Scottish. You must visit sometime, beautiful scenery.
Do not forget in Britain we owe allegence to the monarch not the government hence the love for the queen I am 71 and she has been here all my life god save her
So true and so like any other country. Godspeed to the Queen
Every time I hear Jerusalem my heart fills with pride of this great country that I love with a passion ❤ 🇬🇧
