The only problem with the way you set it up to chamber is now the bore and chamber are not in alignment with the tenon and threads. You should have chambered it first with that set up and then finished the rest of the machining with out adjusting the set up. I also agree that the True Bore chuck is a great product . Your process of getting the bore in alignment is very good though.
OK I did not think about you just using it to show set up . I stand corrected . I do barrels kind of like you do but after getting barrel dialed in I chamber first then do all the other machining so it is all in line with the chamber. I just like to do the chamber before the set up moves. I am just different I guess.
@@lorenlieder9789 why i double and tripple check when i chamber and thread have found the true bore may shift a touch when you first put rpm on it so i zero then run the spindle back and forth a few times recheck and zero then i thread and recheck normally it hasn't moved and i cut the chamber. that is most of the time some times i do chamber first depends on type of barrel.
Thanks for sharing, The only down side is they want $2800 for the two chucks!!

i true it before i thread it and i then double check it when done. this was just to show the dial in and use of the true bore chuck.

@@MrBiggdawg800 That sounds like a good way to do it with the set up you are using should be a good chamber job!
