I think it's a great mon. It worked well for me in the last 2 days. Yea, of course, if they didn't remove poison jab, it would be much. Ivs better. Ivs do matter on this mon for meta match ups. I had sunny weather all morning. Then, once 2pm hit partly sunny. Had no boost until 5pm. I did try out poison sting eq and stone edge on clod. It's more of a tm issue since the rocket event. Plus, waiting for virizion raids.
So im curious what ur thoughts on using clod in the UL??? My first shiny of the com day was a shundo paldean wooper from the first page of 1 dollar research... that being said its only my 3rd ever shundo and im thinking id like to max and best buddy for UL... hoping for some intake before i make the steep investment
If you're playing against it it doesn't matter when you throw against a 1 turn fast move. If you are playing as the 1 turn fast move it doesn't matter too much either but you can maximize your gains if you know the opponent's fast move turns. For example as a licki you can do 2 licks before Umbreon's fast move turn has gone, so there's no need to throw right away unless they have residual energy. You can do 2 licks, then throw
