Big fan of Clark but the play at 2.28 is inexcusable. Turnovers happen, especially when you are the driving force of your team and are pushing to make something happen, but how she reacted to it and her lack of effort in stopping a transition just isn't good enough. She is an incredible player but it will take time for her to mature into a more complete player.
She does have a habit of getting frustrated with bad plays. She could've expected the player she was passing to to take a more post up position, or maybe to not have both team mates go to the same spot on a break, but is was a bad pass by her.
Yeah ... that was bad. Hopefully a learning moment for her. Obviously turnovers are the biggest thing she has to work on moving forward, but there is a noticeable lack of effort on defense sometimes. She needs to work on that too. I'm sure she will.

The entire league is weak on defense really. Every game I have seen this year both teams that are playing just constantly are letting easy buckets under the rim it's just insane just constant lay-ups. You don't see anyone really getting down in defensive stance and sliding. All the teams really just look like they are going through the motions so they can just get ready to go on offense.
Yet the coach still disrespects Clark by sitting her for end of the game plays or draws up a play that does not include her. This game was winnable by the Fever. Sides is terrible.

The entire league is weak on defense really. Every game I have seen this year both teams that are playing just constantly are letting easy buckets under the rim it's just insane just constant lay-ups. You don't see anyone really getting down in defensive stance and sliding. All the teams really just look like they are going through the motions so they can just get ready to go on offense.

Almost a miraculous comeback by the Fever, they have to make runs throughout the game and not just when they need it late. Also, they waited too long to put Hull back in the game. The energy/momentum is off with the Fever. Mitchell had a bad game, it happens. There is potential in both of these teams to be pretty good. Mystics were a slouch early on.
