Wow, that’s so cool…. He’s using paulownia wood. (14:33) I live in the White Mountains of NH and I planted some Ponia trees. Somehow they come back every year like a weed. The flowers are have a heavenly spring smell and it’s considered the fastest growing hardwood, but it’s softer like balsa wood so it makes sense they’d use it for a lure. Thanks for sharing this shop tour Brooksy, they guys are pretty cool!

Hopefully there is another release of these lures soon. Next time i think I order first and eat later 😂

Some day, someone will find those reefed Malosi lures washed up somewhere once they free up from the fish they hooked into. Imagine finding a free Malosi lure. What a dream! 🥺🥳
That actually happened in NZ joe wilds, he lost a lure to a huge kingie and some one found it washed up 6 months later haha!

yet another epic episode mate 👍, and the signature lures are just great. I am following the malosy brothers since the beginning of their instagram journey, i think it was middle of 2020 or so. As a hobby lure builder myself for some years, malosi brothers have always been the best inspiration and reference point for me. Although they kept their methods like a trade secret for a while, the materials, the technology and the way they use it is just very inspiring 🙂

Was shocked at the pricing initially but after seeing the shop and the quality the boys are doing completely justified!
Brooksy, am quite interested to know why back at the Barrier reef you don't use that high stick method of retrieval the boys in Oman seem to favour? Doesn't work on the local fish? Different style of lure? Beautiful looking Aussie-made (or should that be Kwaussie - go the NZ heritage, boys!) lures.

I just purchased a new Yamaha outboard. What exactly happened to the engine?
The fuel pump had a major failure mate. Wasn’t great
@@JonnyBrooksFishing Thanks for the info! My partner said it was a probably a catastrophic fuel pump issue. I'm in Southern California. Parker 2320 with a 300 hp Yamaha. Heading out next week to Catalina Island to pursue the mighty bluefin tuna.

No offense taken! The truth is a GT will eat a $10 plastic stickbait or a hunk of wood with hooks hanging off it if it's fired up enough. Our product isn't for everyone, and yes there is definitely much more economical ways to fish. 😊

Been having tons of fun on Aussie style stickbaits and poppers fishing for jack crevalle here in Florida. Don’t get nearly as big, but our mini version of a GT. In the same family.
Set my timer and had credit card in hand ready to buy, ordered me a new lure straight up the second the site was live! My first Malosi purchase. Malosi V card popped 🤌🏼
