They aren’t “GrEeK” in the pure sense lol. They definitely have Greek ancestry but Egypt, at the time, was very cosmopolitan. With all the popularity drama gets in makeup, it makes me question if the original makeup videos will ever get so much attention...or is it just pointless to try at this point to complete with juicy drama.
Darya actual makeup artists that you can learn from are not involved in drama. Lisa Eldridge, Wayne Goss, Pixiwoo, are all popular channels that get a lot of views, but not in the millions like a Jeffree or James. You can watch someone like Jeffree without even being a makeup user, because he is still entertaining as a person. That's why he has SO many views.
I don't actually watch any makeup related videos on TH-cam but I would like to say if you're on the verge of giving up. Don't!!!! Keep persisting, you will eventually get the attention you deserve and the genuine kind for that matter.❤️
They won't, everyone already knows how to do makeup so nobody wants tutorials anymore. There's countless videos out there telling you all you need. Nobody watches influences for makeup anymore, people only watch because of stan culture and they feel like they have to be a "real fan". To maintain a relevant channel, you have to have some big product release (which only gets traction because you already have a whole stan culture around you), get a collab with morphe or something, or get into drama.
