thanks! This track was recorded a long time ago on an 8 track machine which forced me to be sparing and sparse. Nowadays you can put too much stuff into songs!
Yesterday I went to sleep with my laptop shut with this tab open. Last night while I was in a deep sleep my laptop decided to wake itself up and play this song. I don't even remember what happened, but before my conscious took over and woke me up, I was tripping out in my dream to this song. I really wish I could remember what happened, because after I woke up and shut off my laptop, all I could think was, "Holy shit that was awesome." Thank you guys for making this awesome music.
This is one of those rare songs that people rarely get the pleasure of having made. Far beyond 99% of anything else I've heard in a long time. It has that super hard-to-find quality of immediately putting the mind to ease completely and instantly every time no matter what. You guys should be proud.
@allindiaradio I think Seattlites think of it that area as a bit kitch; we're prouder of the Market. But it is sort of a monument to a Future of the Past. The music fits that sort of lost innocence. Your color palette is spot on, too, for the odd sunny winter's day, here. I'm guessing you do this yourselves? (As you made the 4-3 video.)
absolutely AWESOME song. I think i saw the space needle in there, and the monorail, and the monorail trains. I'm wondering if this was all Seattle photography. Not far from where I live. :)
This totally sounds like music from the video game: Borderlands. Which is ironic that I found it on Pandora, as Pandora is also the name of the planet in that game. This music is awesome.
seldom do i come across music that i go out of my way to do this for, but: keep on making music of this quality. the world needs it (and i think San Francisco could use a show, perhaps :] )
@plzletmego87 Well said, this is exactly what i get from this song, the same as you mentioned. This song makes me stop thinking about all the stupid unnessary things my mind wanders off into. Just chill and be happy that their is music like this.
Hope your subwoofer is OK! Not sure of the frequencies at the end but yeah they get down pretty low (although the real nasty ones should have been cleaned up during the mastering process!)
@dzhaughn yes, a very much so - a kitchy monument of the past. Never got to see the Market. Yes I made the video myself...very simple - just made up of still images :) - martin
OK, this is great stuff. Thoughtfully composed. Does anybody know the range of the low frequency sweeps at the end? My poor subwoofer. Thanks Pandora for playing this. I actually stopped and listened.
Absolutely love that first guitar that kicks in for the melody. That part always gets stuck in my head and I occasionally start singing it in my apartment when working in the kitchen. Also I enjoy the slightly lower fidelity of the mix. Perhaps that's how this track got the name? I could keep going about all of the additional things that I love about this particular track but that would probably get on the lengthy side.
Jordan Strom thanks Jordan. You might already know but much of this track was lost before I had finished it and it existed only on a cassette tape, so I had to rebuild it from that, and yes that’s exactly where the title came from!
I love listening to your music when I am cruising through the desert or up in the mountains! I found you through my Zero 7 station on Pandora. Best station ever!!!
I never would have discovered this song had it not been for Pandora. Awesome track to relax to.
Thanks, glad you like it!

I typed in lo fi in the search bar. I'm glad I chose this song.
I've been driving around using this as my theme music.
This song is one of my favorites ...and the sub-bass notes at the end take your breath away in my truck...!

Clint Eastwood would draw his magnum revolver to this jam.. Wanna make my day, punk? Lol
Ha! They need to remake that movie, with this song!
@KyleLiggett make a playlist out of it and turn autoplay on :)

How do I put this on repeat ?:)?
