I'm a UK D&T teacherr...this is a fantastic project! Really great video instructions too! I'm going to get the bits and will make my own one soon - I'm sure it'll also be a hit with the kids! Thank you for sharing!
How about using a single PNP transistor. Connecting emitter to positive of battery and gate to positive of solar panel through gate current limiting resistor and another high value resistance to pull down the gate of PNP. Connecting the collector to the positive leg of led load (plus series connected resistance switch network) and negative of led to ground. This way you could save one transistor. Plz correct me if i am missing someting.
Your DIY project always inspiring me towards innovation 💡
Thank you so much ☺️
Excellent project! So simple yet innovative 💡
Thank you 😊

Glad you like my project. I will be very happy if it will be useful for kids learning.
Brilliant, dude! Fantastic work! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thank you my friend 😊
Excellent project
Thank You

Nice video
Thank you
Can this 6 volt solar panel charge the battery ? Its ampere is much lower.

Thank you for your suggestion. I think it will work. Let me have a breadboard test to confirm everything is working as expected.
@@opengreenenergy an additional zener can u used for exact voltage setting.
Thank You
