Still aired (february 2023) 5 days a week, from 12pm to 1pm channel 13 , Argentina. The incredively thing is that ratings never go down (even, Broadcating company tried to replace the tv series and such replacements never succedded in ratings). Ive seen the serie with my father (now I have 56) and with my kids. The best hero of all times. the GOAT.
Sadly not at 12pm anymore, now it starts at 12:30pm to 1pm, so instead of airing two episodes, they air just one. Channel 13 just cut it to half an hour over show biz that doesn't bring a quarter of rating of Zorro.
GUY WILLIAMS WAS BEST ZORRO, LOVED HIM IN BONANZA ALSO, HE WAS A VERY VERY HANDSOME MAN, GREAT ACTOR. ALWAYS REMEMBERED. LOST IN SPACE ALSO. I WATCHED AS A KID GROWING UP.
I'm from Argentina. In my country Guy is like a God, and Zorro is the most important character of all time. May be because he is closer to our culture than anyone. Zorro is a real hero, a true hero for the kids of every generation since 50's.
Nicolás DS I love Guy Williams as well. Plus he is my favorite Zorro. Banderas is nice and so is Tyrone Power, but no one can match the charm, like-ability, suaveness, and fun side of him. While I am 24 I am an old soul and would have loved to met him and the others in the cast especially Gene Sheldon and Henry Calvin!
@@ChadTownsend In Germany I saw Zorro in my childhood. Unfortunatly it was not shown on television again since then... It is possible to buy the box in english and spanish, but no chance to get it in german language... Edit: Amazing, I looked again and it is possible to buy it now. xD
I was 5 years old when this was filmed. I don't remember stuff like I used to now, but I remember watching Zorro with my grandparents and I never forgot Guy Williams. I used to love how he would smile when fencing with the 'bad guys' like he knew he was good and he was going to win. He was so dashing all in black, even a little girl appreciated him. Then I watched Lost In Space just to see him. It's awful what Hollywood did to him and I don't blame him for leaving the country. They adored him in Argentina and I'm glad he was able to have that experience. Be at Peace, Guy Williams. You are not forgotten.
@@WarRogers Despite good ratings with Zorro, (#30 in Season 1 with a 26.6 rating), the series ended after two seasons due to a financial dispute between Disney and the network over ownership of Zorro. When the network and Disney resolved their differences, Disney didn't think Zorro was popular enough to continue. Then he did a couple of movies that were flops. Another movie gave him a bit part that co-starred Irene Ryan. Then came Lost in Space, which started out decent, but then it became what I call the 'Will & Smith' show. Guy's part was reduced greatly, which he did not deserve. When that ended, he moved to Argentina and they adored him as Zorro and he brought the character back to life for men, women, and children. I think he deserved better. He was a fine actor, handsome, and a good person.
The person filming these home movies got incredibly lucky to be so close. Some of these shots are amazing. Love this. Guy Williams was a one dashing handsome man.
HE is SOOO COOOL nad HANDSOME! I remember this show in reruns whenI was little! --my brother saw it when it aired- he was older - and he still talks about Zorro and Guy! AND I LOVE Guy in Lost in Spacve! that was MY fave show too with him!
Too Bad ! It's a silent film But the colors are beautiful and shimmering 😎👍 Guy Williams 🎩 Definitely the Best Zorro , That of my chilhood Thanks for sharing 🖐️
I was born when Lost In Space came out. I'm sure I watched the original run (but was too young to remember) but I was glued to the TV during the reruns. Guy was a true father role. Leader, smart, kind and brave. I never saw Zorro but this post is wonderul.
I love how it looks like how much fun they are having doing this. Zorro was a great show and thanks to the youtube channel CorporalReyes I have seen all of the episodes including the 4 extended episodes!
I loved this show as a kid, though I am not old enough to have seen them when they were originally broadcast. I was born in 1968, so it must have been reruns during the 1970's that I remember. I just noticed that many of the episodes are available on TH-cam. While I wish Disney had uploaded them, I am grateful they haven't forced them to be taken down (yet). But Disney has a streaming service coming later this year. All the focus has been on Marvel, Star Wars, and Disney animated films and I am excited about all of those things. But I hope they also make the older stuff like the Wonderful World of Disney and Zorro available as well. It's funny. More content is available today than at any other point in human history and much of that content is available instantly. But that just means we feel entitled to even more, or at least I do. If I find myself remembering an old TV show. I feel like I should just be able to stream it. Or at least it should be available somewhere if I am willing to pay for it. When it isn't available anywhere I get annoyed. How spoiled we've (or at least I've) become. But hey Disney, please put Zorro on Disney Plus!!!
So weird to see Zorro and Monastario shaking hands :D Because of the lack of behind-the-scenes material (normal thing for the shows from this time I think) it's even harder to convince one's brain they were just actors.
Yes nicolas ds he was like a god in argentina im from argertina too I'm 39 and today I make a living riding horses because of zorro I even did fencing for a few years he is the only zorro the perfect face and body for it and his costume was dashing like it should be unlike Antonio Bandera he look like he was going to a hallowing party so ridiculous
Amazing footage! Probably the only actual film footage of this limited appearance. I remember watching this old series showing on the Disney Channel back in the 80s (when they showed real WALT DISNEY produced Movies and shows that were worth watching). Amazing, and good memories of me and my Dad watching it. Sad this series (due to the majority of the cast and production not being latino) and also a few other Disney cartoons and classics, have been branded racist by the new Disney hierarchy (no living member of the Disney family is involved anymore since Roy Disney passed away). They say it depicts racist stereotypes and shows Mexicans as dumb, poor, and dirty while depicting the Spanish aristocracy as rich and smart and refined. That may be true but it was primarily a kids and young adults show and people were no where near as sensitive. Utterly rediculous. That's why it never airs anymore on Disney Channel, only once in a great while on an obscure classic TV channel. The second season, and also the third season episodes that were never aired but were made into four full length films by Walt and aired on Walt Disney Presents are never ever aired. They have only ever been released on the DVD treasures sets. They refuse to rerelease Zorro either for physical media or streaming. It means those of us that want to see the series need to buy the decade old DVD sets for crazy money (currently six times the original price), or resort to cheap bad quality bootlegs. As more time goes on these truly landmark films and shows get lost and forgotten to the point no one will know about them or even care to see them. So many families missing out on this true icon that closely rivaled Davy Crockett for popularity.
The only hope of this being rereleased someday is bootlegs. If word gets around and Disney knows they are missing out of money, maybe they will lighten up and release this series. So buy away. There are some very very nice bootlegs that can be found. That's all I can say.

Disney should reboot Zorro and honor Williams and Henry Calvin's legacy insteady of keep doing those live actions no one asked and worse than the cartoons.
I so wish Monastario was in all episodes. He's the high quality opponent, exactly the one that make Zorro look good. And he was taking setbacks in a funny way. They must have been recognizing his value, Monastario was no longer in episodes but he acted in these live shows, bizarre circumstances.
100x better than the lightsaber dancing and twirling in the Star Wars prequels!!!!! And, this was the actual actor who played Disney’s Zorro (the incomparable Guy Williams). What a holiday treat that day must have been!!!!!!
The best of the best. He was born to be Zorro. Guy William is a legend
Guy Williams the one and only Zorro. Nobody can portray Zorro better than he could. And the best don Diego de la Vega aswell
