Yo, Flats, if it helps your ego just know that in germany we've known Gyro (or Gyros, that's not plural btw) for decades and nobody here pronounces it Jeerohs. We pronounce it as if it's a german word an the greek dudes selling the stuff stopped caring probably since before I was born.
So don't worry about having mispronounced it all the time, we all do.
Same in the Netherlands. We even add some extra by pronouncing the G extra Dutch

The "s" at the end isn't plural, it's because Gyros is a masculine word

I think a live version of this could be doable if Flats takes an inventory of what he's got in his pantry already and picks a handful of different stuff; no need to get fresh ingredients. We've all got weird assortments of sauce, salad dressing, and stuff; only hitch is the meat. It's a common thing in my neck of the woods, but there's a brand of deli meat called "Buddig" (like "budding" without the n) that sells inexpensive, single-serving pouches of deli meat. The quality isn't exactly top-shelf, but for like a one-off video, and assuming it's available where Flats lives, it could be done.

Best way to do this yourself would probably be to roll the dice, THEN get the ingredients and use them throughout the week. Worst case scenario, you get one or two things that you give to a friend since you don't like it to begin with.
As a Greek, I was ready to stand up for my Gyro! I do have to say though that the guy’s pronunciation isn’t terrible.

I don’t know if Flats and his chat realize that when things go together, they make different flavors than if they are just presented alone. Like if you pair something sweet and savory together, the sandwich most likely won’t be overwhelmed by the sweetness nor the savoriness.

After a cursory google search, it’s actually pronounced jee row, however language is a finicky thing and if people get something wrong for long enough, it becomes the new normal.

rly? white pepper is so uncommon that he has to describe it? It's the main pepper in most scandinavian cooking unless you use red meat. Also, I'm not greek but I nthink he said tzatziki wrongf so I'm not sure he says Gyro correctly.

I really don't get why he dislikes ketchup, everything on this sandwich is bad EXCEPT the ketchup and salami. Don't get me wrong, I prefer yellow mustard, but ketchup is fine. Way better than anything mayo-based or some of the weirder pickled stuff he has.
