@@samb8744 yes because other teams are too weak for international sports level. It was India's match. No one can help you if you want to gift matches to opponents. Who bowls two no balls in last over in such a crunch situation? They took 2 runs when ball went to the fielder who was standing within 30 mtrs yard. Are you kidding me? It is like we don't wanna win, take it from us.

See the thing is in women cricket they do not have high profile coaches..no int women's team coach you would know....only one is when Jacob Oram coached the NZ women team. Otherwise the coaches that are put in have substantial coaching experience..another example is indian men's team have high profile head coaches but have you ever heard about Bharat Arun , Vikram rathour and R Sridhar before they turned coaches of indian team..but they are experienced coaches. They have been former players but not very popular ones. The previous coach of the women WV raman too played a few matches for india in the 90s. Women teams do not have high profile coaches so that you will know their names.

A few thoughts about how this game played out.
1: benefit of the doubt goes to the batting team. India had two players run out that weren’t given by the third umpire. Even though they were almost certainly out, the frames showed no definitive proof, so the benefit of the doubt went to India, as it should’ve.
2: Carey stepped back after the No-ball was delivered, which made the delivery closer than it would’ve been if she’d stayed forward. Also to the people arguing “Carey was crouching”. The no-ball is called relating to the batter’s stance, not if they were standing upright
3: the LBW decision given not out was definitely out, but it wasn’t a howler. India barely even appealed so the ump didn’t consider it too much. India were jumping up and down appealing all night, but when a legit lbw happened, they were pretty silent.
4: it’s easy to focus on the last ball, but India suffered a death of 1,000 cuts. The endless miss-fields, lack of half-chances taken, poor no-balls and wides, overthrows and other poor choices cost India a game they should have won.
5: Mooney is a legend. Sometimes you’ve gotta hand it to a player that tears through another teams’ confidence like that. Carey and Mcgrath both nailed it too.
Amazing match. Please be kind to each other. Let’s just be happy we saw some amazing cricket from both teams, as well as some very poor cricket under pressure from both teams

Well said man..I thought the same when she was run out. She is consistent with her scores but it gets a lot easier when you initially play at a strike rate of 40 odd which she always does. Rather have someone playing at 80 odd and not being not as consistent than this. She is good for low score run chases.

@@raj-er2mp hence i told you it was a marginal call...do you understand that ..it simply means it was a 50-50 case if the umpire would not have been given a no ball then the opposite team and supporters would have been unhappy. Even though she was a bit crouched she was still well inside her crease. And in the past as well balls at this very height have been called no balls and at many instances not called no balls. The rule is the batsman should not be outside the crease or have advanced towards the ball and the frame is checked when the ball makes first contact with the batter or batsman's bat. So the ball did not have any more to travel...what you want the ball to travel to the wicket?? The only thing is she was a bit crouched but not much. So marginal call.
