Someone should make a movie of this , it could be great .
I've heard those guitars before but never heard one sound that good. I know some of these had fabric glued to the inside to help support the top but they make the sound dead. Maybe your luthier removed it, and used a different, better method to support the top. Sure is resonant.

I owned one similar that I purchased from Sears in 1966 and wound up giving it to my nephew who became a western singer and song writer Jason Lee, unfortunately he passed away after having a gastric bypass to lose weight and had asthma at a very early age! RIP don’t know what his mom did with the guitar he self taught on, that old Sears Silver-tone
I collect vintage harmony guitars, 6 in total. Wouldn't it be great, if their complete histories could be known? So, how was this guitar actually broken, in the first place? Not by being dropped on the floor

I have a brain injury and 1980 Stratocaster I wish to God I could afford financially it is wood grain with a rosewood fingerboard that with scalloped and an a regular body with no painting I and send it when I was a kid the neck is not on the body 😢

Seen Harmony's in worse shape than that one was. That Harmony has adjustable rod not all of them had that

This guitar has a truss rod. They didn't start putting truss rods on these old Harmony's till the early 60's I thought? I have a 1946 H1456 and it has no truss rod. What gives?
